14,400 Genie Bras ($287,856 Worth) Are Heading to Female Soldiers Stationed Around The World.

December 15, 2011 - 17% of the soldiers carrying guns out there to protect us are women. They live outside the wire, many times in tents and very often without running water for months at a time. In fact feminine products is a key thing that heads to Afghanistan in care packages.

Now thanks to the generosity of Tristar Products Inc. of Fairfield, NJ, 14,400 Genie Bras are heading to female soldiers stationed around the world. That is $287,856 worth of goodwill shown by a privately owned great American company which stood up for the deployed troops in a big way.

Requests have already come in from numerous bases. These bras have no wires and provide flexibility and ease needed when geared up in the hot desert environment. They are being distributed through various troop support groups in the Support Our Troops Network, to whom we supplied them under our Care Goods Grant Program.

I'll Try Anything Once: The Genie Bra
XO Jane : November, 2011

Yes, I found it on QVC and yes, the commercials are, in fact, infomercials but HEAR ME OUT.

My mother worked as a retail manager at Victoria's Secret when I was a child. On days when school got out early or the babysitter called in sick, I would find myself stuck in the stock room, sorting bras and doing my homework.

I knew what a demi cup was before I needed one, I was familiar with the mechanics of a push-up bra early on, and most importantly, I was well acquainted with the idea that it could go either way for me.

I could end up with huge boobs that required a size DD or tiny little A cups. I actually ended up with tiny little B Cups. I have often found myself wishing for something more significant to combat the swing of my hips (muffin top). But by the same token, many of my large-breasted friends wish for smaller, lower-maintenance boobies that would slim their silhouette.

My husband regularly says to me when I complain about my boobs, "I've never dated a woman that liked her boobs."

While I find this reminder irritating due to it's inherent implication of the high number of tits he's seen in his life, he's also on to something. Big, small, saggy, perky, floppy, pointy, or flabby, we should all learn to love what we have. And that goes for women with weird nipples, too. You know why? Because there are no weird nipples. (I've just come to terms with that one recently.)

And all of this brings me to my real point: In an attempt to Try Anything Once, I think I have discovered a bra that will work for each and every one of us. Yeah. You heard me. Ladies, I introduce to you ... THE GENIE BRA!

I decided to take things to the next level. Enter: my friend Tamara. She has got some bazongas. Spell check isn't recognizing that word so maybe I made it up. The point is, she's got big boobs and thus, I got her a Genie Bra and we did a little test.

Keeping it real in a 36D, Tamara wears the exact same bra size as I do in the Genie Bra. Isn't that crazy? She was skeptical when I gave it to her over dinner.

"I think I need a large," she said, but I grabbed the bra and stretched it almost the width of the table and implored her to trust me.

"It's VERY comfortable, and I love how it hides my back fat," she emailed me the next morning. That night, she and I went out dancing, both in our black Genie Bras and no one stopped us to ask why our breasts were sagging, so I think that means they weren't.

When I saw her a week later, she pulled her shirt over to the side and bared the strap proudly.

"Haven't taken it off!" she said. "I've worn it EVERY DAY."

So then I decided to up the ante again. If the Genie Bra could support size B and D breasts, could it support the breasts of a mother of three? The answer to that is: YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT IT COULD.

"This fit you and Tamara?" my friend Sara asked me. We were standing in her bedroom, her three girls running around in circles. "There is no way this fits you and Tamara."

"Oh My God!" cried her 12-year-old, Celia. "Tamara's boobs are huge!"

I gave them both a knowing glance and Sara put it on. And despite her feeding three girls over 10 years from them, her boobs looked awesome in the Genie Bra. I believe her exact words were, "Jesus, this is comfortable."

Before I left, I had to promise each of them their own Genie Bra, which was fine with me since they come in packs of two anyway. That's right. A mom and her preteen daughter are going to wear the same size Genie Bra.

So there you have it folks, A, B, C, D or HH, I'm going on record as saying this bra might be the panacea we've been looking for. What do you guys think? For 10 bucks (Bed Bath and Beyond sells a pack of 2 for $20), it's worth a shot, right?

My Genie Bra Experience - The Perfect Fit!
: May, 2011

As a petite woman with a buxom chest, I have always had difficulty finding proper fitting bras. I've always been bosomy. In the eighth grade I was a size 32 C. If I use the standard bra fitting measurements, today I am a 32 DDD or 32 F. Try to find that size off the rack! I was commiserating with a female friend about my situation and she confided in me that she also has problems with ill-fitting bras. We both have drawers overflowing with them. My problem is the muffin-top. I spill over the cups and when I wear a sweater or knit top, I get a bulge that looks terrible. I don't mind wearing plunging necklines to match my lingerie but there are places I go to where I don't want my girls showing.

Not too long ago my friend came over and excitedly told me about a commercial she had seen for a product called The Genie Bra. Since I never saw the merchandise, I went on-line and looked it up. I found out that there are no cup sizes. You order by your shirt size. The material will accommodate your abundant cleavage due to a four way stretch. The bra is also seamless, with no wires or hooks. I was skeptical but intrigued at the same time. I wear a size large in a t-shirt and so does my girlfriend. The website special for the Genie Bra Original gives you a 3 pack in colors, nude, white and black. You can get a double order, that's two 3 packs for $59.99 with shipping at $19.98. I would split the order with my girlfriend. We would each get 3 genie Bras for less than $40.00. I've paid more than that for just one non-Genie Bra! The order was placed on March 31, 2011. Due to high demand and backorders, I received my package six weeks later. I crossed my fingers and slipped the bra over my head and adjusted my breasts. It was a perfect fit! My girlfriend was also very pleased with her perky new look! The bras are machine washable and dryable, have a nice wide band that eliminates any back rolls, and there are no ugly bra lines or bulges. I would definitely recommend The Genie Bra to every woman who has any type of problem with correct fitting bras.

My friend recommended them to me. She said they are like a miracle. Any opinions?
I'm not sure it's for me since my boobs practically hang down to me knees and I'm a DD. just curious.

Reply1:
I have them and love them. And my boobs are D too. They are about the opposite of sexy though. Soooo comfy and I do think they give decent support and definitely smooth lines, especially in the back. I got a set of 6 from qvc for around 60. 6 is a lot but it's a great value. You DEFINITELY want the modesty pads.

The proper, ladylike part of me feels that I never should mention an "unmentionable," but the part of me that cares for my fellow sisters' comfort just has to speak out and tout an undergarment that we gals have been waiting for since puberty - the Genie Bra!

I had seen the undergarments promoted on television, but given the marketing approach of the "as seen on TV" products - where you receive a duplicate item at no additional cost and often garner a bonus gift - I've never put much stock in them.

Every time I saw the Genie Bra ad, though, which advised that you could only get the company's offer for six ...

“Holiday Gift Ideas-– Genie Bras and Cami Shapers (Review)”
Feature on Genie Bra & Camishaper

Holiday Gift Ideas – Genie Bras and Camishapers Review
: November, 2012

I recently had the opportunity to try out two products from genie bra, after seeing them in infomercials on television for months. Because I do most of my blogging in the wee hours of the morning, the only thing that I can find on television for background noise is infomercials. I don't know about you, but when I watch these product advertisements, I always think to myself, "Do these actual do what they are claiming they do?" And, on a few occasions, I have impulsed bought -- maybe because I was half asleep -- only to be disappointed by the overall quality and use of the products that are "As seen on TV." Have you bought products from late night infomercials that disappointed? Or, were there products you saw and wished you had bought. This was the case with the genie bra and cami shaper. for me.

As you know, I had both my daughters back to back, within 15 months of each other. So, I never really gave my body a chance to get back into pre-baby shape before I was pregnant again. And, because of this, I found that the excess weight around my waist turned into flab after Arabella was born. With two young children at home, I don't have the luxury of heading to the gym daily, or having a personal trainer (like celebrities do) come to the house to get me in shape. Instead, my exercising consists of running after the girls, picking up after them and taking them when the weather is nice for a stroll. I wish I had the energy at the end of the day to work out. But, the free time I do have goes to catching up on sleep, blogging, showering, or just simply vegging out.

Each time I caught the genie bra and cami shaper infomercials on television, I wondered if they would provide a slimming, yet comfortable feel. I say this, as I have spent top dollar on other shaping camis after the girls were born, to help with getting my stomach back to (or as close to) it's pre-baby shape. Have you tried body shapers? If so, then you know how uncomfortable they can be, after you finally manage to get them off. How do makers of these control tops/bras/camis think these products are comfortable to wear all day? They are probably not in need for this all over coverage like I and so many other moms out there.

So, even though I was sent a genie bra and cami shaper for review, I was keeping an open mind and not expecting much from them. I first tried out the bra and couldn't believe how comfortable it felt. The stretchy material made it easy to pull over your head and put on. And, it was made with a seamless material, so I didn't have to worry about hooks or underwire pieces to show through my tops. The best feature for me was how the cups conformed to your breast shape. One thing I have found in the past with seamless bras is that they don't fit well in the bust area, and have excess material that bunches up. And, if you have back fat, this elastic seamless bra helps to eliminate it. So, you can feel confident wearing this seamless bra, knowing that you have all coverage and can feel comfortable wearing it all day long.

I couldn't wait to try the cami shaper, after being amazed at the positive experience I had with the classic genie bra. The shaper was easy to get on and off, and really did a great job in slimming my tummy and lower back areas, which have been problem areas for me since having the girls. Shirts I stashed in the back of my closet because they didn't look flattering could finally be taken out again and worn. I felt more confident while wearing the cami shaper from genie bra, and loved how it offered slimming coverage in all the right areas, while being comfortable to wear.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience with both products from genie bra, and was so glad I had the opportunity to review them. Now, when I see infomercials for these late at night, I will not have to wonder anymore if they actual work, as I know they do. With the holidays party invites coming in, now I don't have to think twice about what I can wear, that will hide my work in progress tummy. Instead, I can slip on the cami shaper and my favorite top, and feel and look great as I head out the door. :-)

My Personal Experience with the Genie Bra
voices.yahoo.com : November, 2012
Cheryl E Preston, Yahoo! Contributor Network

In high school I weighed 98 lbs. And I barely fit a size 32 A bra. Now at age 54 things have changed. Bra straps have left ugly indentations in my shoulders. And I have a hard time finding the right cup size. When I watch the commercials for the Genie Bra and other similar products I can relate. And I know that the women pulling tugging and struggling with their Brazzieres is no exaggeration.

I realized that with the changes in my body as I age, that I would love a product that gave extra support. The pull of gravity demands lift, but under wires are painful. I wanted full support that would complement my body. I desired a product that would help with posture. And I did not want to appear as if I had 4 breast instead of two. Still I had reservations. I perceived these supposed wonder bra's were more hype than substance.

I was leaving Walmart one day and noticed a rack of Genie Bra's near the check out counter. A package of 2 was only $19.99. So I took the plunge. The Genie bra is soft and comfortable. It does gift lift and support without wires. I find that my posture improves when I wear it. The straps fit nicely. And I am thankful that I no longer have to worry about the deep ruts that have been forged in my shoulders over time. And the Genie bra has pads that can be inserted for those who need extra support. it does move and bend with me. And often I forget I have it on. And I love how my "girls" don't bounce anymore. The Genie bra holds them in just fine.

The Genie Bra does cover under my arms and my back more than a traditional bra. However it does not cover 100%. I still see flab showing, just not as much. Also the commercials claim the Genie Bra does not roll. Well mine does. I find myself pulling it down the front multiple times a day. Both these issues may resolve themselves by a little exercise. Or I could try a larger size Genie bra.

Over all the Genie bra is a better experience than traditional bras. And it granted 3 of my wishes. Truth be told no product is ever 100% of what it is advertised to be. And as we age our bodies shift and change. And we must make allowance for that.

Genie Review
: November 14, 2012

One of the things that no one tells you in pregnancy is that you're most likely going to have to buy new bras. Not only does your cup size change, your ribcage expands as you progress further into your pregnancy. This can mean that you spend a ton of money buying new bras every trimester or it means that you find a bra that works for multiple sizes. The Genie Bra helps eliminate the need to buy multiple maternity bras by stretching to fit a multitude of sizes. The Genie Bra comes in sizes XS/S-4X, providing lots of options for women of all shapes and sizes. I was immediately impressed by how easy it was to find a Genie Bra that fit me. As my pregnancy progressed, I found that the Genie Bra continued to fit when my other bras had to be put away. This makes the already affordable Genie Bra a real cost savings because anything that lasts you longer is a winner in my book

The Genie Bra comes in twelve colors, divided by four sets: The Classic Set, The Pastel Set, The Neutrals Set and the Brights Set. The product that I tested was nude colored and I loved how easy it was to conceal under a variety of clothing fabrics. One thing I noticed was that the straps are set fairly close together, so the straps showed near my neck on some of my blouses. The Genie Bra is structured much like a sports bra, so if you find that style of bra doesn't suit you, this might not be the product for you. The product has a full cup design, so a properly fitting Genie Bra will contain your bust without causing unsightly lumps or bumps.

One of the major selling points of The Genie Bra is the quality of the fabric used. The bra is constructed of 96% Nylon and 4% Spandex and is incredibly soft and smooth to the touch. I found this to be very comfortable on my sensitive pregnancy skin. The Spandex does a great job of giving support but at the end of the day I found that my ribcage was a bit uncomfortable from the shape of the bra. More frequent use helped me get used to the feeling of The Genie Bra, which is much different from a traditional clasp and hook bra. The Genie Bra is more about support and less about bust enhancement, unlike a pushup bra. This undergarment is meant to be worn for long periods of time, like an all-day or t-shirt bra. If you find that your breasts are uncomfortable during pregnancy, especially when fabrics rub them, The Genie Bra is a great solution. The soft fabric and gentle support can help you find relief day or night.

If you buy a size bigger than your maternity size, I think the Genie Bra would be a nice sleep bra for after the baby is born. To nurse my babe I simply moved one side of the bra over my breast and placed it back down after feeding. Obviously, this bra was not specifically designed as a nursing bra, so it's probably best to use the bra for this function at home.

The Genie Bra is completely machine washable and dryer safe, which is great for the end of pregnancy when you may find yourself leaking colostrum and needing frequent washing. During my testing phase, I threw the Genie Bra in the washing machine and dryer many times and I was impressed with how well it maintained its shape after washing. The fabric didn't pill or lose elasticity, which helped the integrity of the bra. Because of the optional removable modesty pads, slight breast leaking can easily be concealed. You could even add a breast pad without anyone noticing. The makers of Genie Bra suggest that it can even be used as a camisole, which with the number of color options available, could provide you with lots of bra/camisole choices.

Genie Bra: What All Women Wish For
: July 24, 2012
by Jessica

I don’t have TV *gasp!* so I hadn’t heard about Genie Bras until I had the chance to review them. Yes, I kinda live under a rock.

I am normally a 36C, but since I’m still nursing, I am a little fuller than normal (36DD!!), but I still decided to get a size Large instead of an XL (the online size chart recommended XL) because I didn’t want it to be too loose. Plus, they say that your shirt size is your Genie Bra size, so that’s why I ultimately went with the Large. That size fits well, so I am glad I got the smaller size. I like the way the band fits around my ribs snugly without being too tight. It is a great casual bra for day or night – I’ve worn it to bed several times and it is so comfortable that I wake up forgetting that I have a bra on at all! It is very comfy and pretty supportive, but don’t expect any miracle-cleavage type action or lift. That’s just not what this bra is about. It’s about comfort and seamless design.

The removable pads are easier to insert and adjust after the bra is on, though the package recommends inserting them before putting the bra on – you say to-may-to, I say to-mah-to. They do slide around a little bit, but not so much that it’s annoying, and they don’t bunch up which is a total plus. The pads are especially nice when it’s cold outside. #nomorehighbeams

I really like my Genie Bras because they are so comfortable. They are great everyday bras, and it is definitely nice to have a break from underwire! Plus, they released new colors besides the classic white/nude/black lineup, AND they have the classic colors with lace trim. I LOVE the Neutrals line of colors. Very pretty!

Genie Bra :: $59.97 for 6 bras on the Genie Bra website (p.s. you can also get a nude/black set of 2 from BedBathandBeyond.com for $19.99 if you want to try them before you buy a set of 6)

Genie Slim & Tone Leggings & Custom Genie Bra Review #Holiday Gift Guide
Savvy Saving Couple: October 29, 2013

When it comes to undergarments, there is not doubt that we all have to wear them. While it may not be the highlight of our shopping lists, purchasing things like bras, and underwear is a must! I recently had the opportunity to review a few Genie Bras, and some new Genie Slim Tone Leggings. I thought these would be good additions to my gift guide because comfortable, fashionable undergarments are a must-have this holiday season.

No one wants to battle the holiday shopping lines, or crowds in uncomfortable, tight, or irritating underwire bras. That is why the Genie Bra, and *new* Custom Genie Bra are the perfect bras for this time of year! We received a Genie Bra three pack in Hawaiian Coast to try out. I have to say, I am all about comfort and these bras felt exactly like what I was hoping for. At first glance they may look similar to a sports bra, but they are so supportive and comfortable!

For the holidays, the Custom Genie Bra is such a great investment! I loved that this bra is like having 5 bras in one! That is right, this bra has straps that can be positioned to five different settings thanks to 30 slots that surround the bra. I don’t know about you, but I am in awe of the fact that I could wear a strappy bra, and pretty much any top in my wardrobe!!

Check out all 5 ways to wear the Custom Genie Bra:

  • Normal
  • Front Crisscross
  • Dual Strap Cross Shoulder
  • Halter
  • Back Crisscross

These days, I wear quite a bit of basic print tees so the Genie Bras I received are amazing..hoping to try out the Custom Genie soon! I could never go back to an under wire bra again after feeling so free, and supported in these bras! I love the colors, look, and feel of my Genie Bras…they are certainly not ugly like traditional sports bras!

I also received some Genie Slim Tone Leggings! These leggings are super soft, stretchy and comfortable. They go up to size 3x, and come in Black, Charcoal, and Rich Cocoa. These really suck in the fat, and give a nice, even, and smooth appearance. They would pair well with oversized holiday sweaters, and boots. Again, Genie has managed to not sacrifice style for comfort. All their items are super comfort and look great! These would be a perfect addition to holiday attire.

Ahh, the bra: Helpful in many ways, but the bane of woman's existence in others. TODAY style editor and author Bobbie Thomas highlights support that'll enhance your undergarment experience.

Blend and banish
For those with bra straps that make unwanted appearances (ahem, Hoda), MySkins makes lingerie in 20 skin tone-matching shades that'll blend away, while The Custom Genie Bra and Lilyette's Strapless Convertible Bra are best-selling convertible options that allow you to move straps into multiple positions (MySkins Lingerie $12 to $60, myskins.com; Custom Genie Bra 3-pack $59.97, customgeniebra.com; Lilyette Bra $36, maidenform.com).

Secure straps
Next, Strap Tamers have a safety pin-like design that helps harness your strap to the inside of your top, keeping everything aligned and in place ($8.50, amazon.com). And while we're on the subject of straps, Maidenform makes soft inserts that can be worn under bra straps to add comfort and prevent shoulder dents and redness ($7 to $12, maidenform.com).

Save a fave
You wear your bra every day, so wear and tear can be an issue — especially if the bra is pricey or in a style that's been discontinued. Extend the life of your favorite one with the Fix-a-Bra patch, created by mom/daughter duo Denise and Lesley. The patches can help conceal and cushion an underwire that's popped through or other rough spots that pop up over time ($9.99, fixabra.com).

Custom Genie Bra Offers the Flexibility of a Convertible Bra without Annoying Underwires
Modern Baby: October 17, 2013

If you hate underwire bras with a passion, you’ll be thrilled to hear that the makers of the Genie Bra have come out with a Custom Genie Bra design that brings you the flexibility of a convertible bra without the annoying underwires.

The Custom Genie Bra comes with removable straps that can be worn several different ways, as shown in the photo accompanying this post. This gives you the flexibility to wear your Custom Genie Bra with all your favorite tops. There is a silicone strip at the top of the bra to help hold it it place.

The Custom Genie Bra isn’t quite as comfortable as the original version, but it’s significantly more comfortable than other strapless or convertible bras that I’ve tried.

I actually like this bra better than the expensive Victoria’s Secret convertible bra I purchased to wear with the bridesmaid’s dress at my brother’s wedding. It doesn’t provide the same level of lift that my Victoria’s Secret bra does, but it’s much easier to wear for long periods of time.

I tend to shy away from sleeveless styles simply because I’m really self conscious about my arms, but I like that the Custom Genie Bra gives you more flexibility with necklines in general. The original Genie Bra shows even if you’re wear a modest v-neck, so I’ve taken to wearing the custom Genie Bra as a strapless bra or back crisscross bra underneath my favorite v-neck shirts.

The sizing for the Custom Genie Bra is the same as the original Genie Bra. The bras come in S-3X. There are three bras in a set: black, nude, and white. Visit the Custom Genie Bra website for more information.

"Genie Bras are a Wish Come True!"
Feature on Genie Bra

Review: Genie Bras Are A Wish Come True!
: November 5, 2013

Remember when I bought a pack of Freedom Bras last year and gave them a hesitantly positive review? That was before I tried the Genie Bra, which led me to throw out all my Freedom Bras and rescind my hesitantly positive review.

Freedom Bras were like the guy who isn’t great but isn’t horrible, so you casually date him for like 3 years but secretly wish he’d give you more support and also you’re a little nervous to be seen in public with him. Genie Bras are like that amazing relationship you thought only existed in fairytales, where the guy fits you perfectly, gives you constant support, and even sufficiently covers your nipples for trips to the grocery store. Sorry, I got confused by my own analogy, but what I’m trying to say is, the Genie Bra is the real deal.

As I mentioned in my Freedom Bra review, I’ve been looking for a comfy, underwire-free bra to wear around the house pretty much since the moment my ample bosoms first appeared (on the playground in 5th grade to be exact). So when I saw a pack of Genie Bras hanging in the “As Seen On TV” section at Bed Bath & Beyond (classy, right?) a few months ago, I couldn’t resist buying a two-pack to test ‘em out. I’m a 36F/38E in regular bras, so I went with the 2X Genie Bra just to be safe. I was very, very impressed for the following reasons:

Thick, comfortable fabric. The stretchy nylon/spandex fabric is thick enough to hold up my boobs, but soft enough to be comfortable for many hours. It does a pretty good job of concealing nipples. It never digs into my skin and only slightly loses its shape when confronted with boob sweat.

Great coverage. The Genie Bra covers as much as a traditional sports bra, but thanks to its lifting powers, it also creates some pretty fabulous cleavage, if I do say so myself. The most amazing thing about this bra? I routinely wear it OUT OF THE HOUSE. That’s how comfortable I feel with the level of coverage/support.

Truly defined cups. The Freedom Bra claimed to have defined cups, but the Genie Bra actually delivers, using some clever stitching patterns and soft molded cups to ensure boobs are properly supported. I don’t use the molded cups, mostly because I removed them at some point and immediately forgot where I put them, but I’ve found they’re not really necessary. The Genie Bra isn’t going to give you the definition of a traditional bra, but it’s also a big step up from the boob loaf situation sports bras create. When you wear it, it’s very obvious you have two separate breasts.

Smooth silhouette. My main goal in buying the Genie Bra wasn’t the slimming effects espoused on the package, but hey, it’s a welcome bonus! The Genie Bra creates a totally smooth silhouette under clothes, especially in the back/armpit area. It has a slight slimming effect as well, but without the pain of traditional shapewear.

I wear my Genie Bras constantly, and feel like I’ve finally found a bra comfortable and supportive enough to wear around the house, to bed, to the store, and even to the airport (no more underwires poking into my armpit in the middle of an 8-hour flight!). Whether your boobs are extra-small or extra-large, I’m pretty confident this bra will work for you. Oh, and did I mention they only cost $10 each? Yeah, life dream status.

Genie Bras Review
Grammy 2 Kaiden: October 8, 2013

For the last several years my daughter has struggled with finding a bra that fit and is comfortable. When I was offered a chance to review the Genie Bra, I was actually a little excited. I figured I would have my daughter test one and I would test the other. Boy was I wrong!

I allowed my daughter to pick the color that she wanted. So she grabbed them all. I had to chase her around to ensure that I received one to facilitate my honest review. After a few days, my daughter stopped me and said, "I hope you don't think that you will see any of these bras again." Um, what? She was so in love with the comfort and fit of the bra that I gave to her that she went and took mine too. So in all fairness, all of the opinions in this post are a combination of mine and hers and put into writing by me.

The Fit: The sizes are super easy to choose. The sizes are set to Small, medium, large, etc. Now if you are a woman, you know that is not how we have shopped for bras....ever. Don't worry. They sizes are broke down in a way that is easy to understand. I ordered the size that I knew would work for me. When the bras arrived, I was a little scared since they appeared too small, but to my surprise, they did fit and fit well.

The Style: There are a couple of different looks to a Genie bra but the color offerings are expansive. The new fall color line has some great choices that will blend well under your fall wardrobe. The cut of the bras that I received has an appearance that is similar to some sports bras, with a pull over feature and wide straps. For my daughter, the wide straps were a plus because if they showed under a shirt, it just appeared like she was wearing a tank top under her shirt. Layering is in, right?

The Benefits: One of my biggest fears with a sports style bra is the lack of any lining. Genie has added a liner to the inside of their bras to ensure complete coverage. They have also managed to design the cut of their bra for full support without under wires that dig in under your arms or anywhere else for that matter. The color line is also a big plus. You can never go wrong with a color to match everything you own, right ladies? Finally, my favorite feature. They are washable! No need to hand wash, and lay flat to dry. That is heaven in itself.

If you need a comfortable bra or know someone that does, Genie has it. They are relatively inexpensive and in my opinion, well worth the cost.

9 Names to Know in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
Reader's Digest: September 30, 2013

According to the American Cancer Society, there is a 1 in 8 chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer during her lifetime, and a 1 in 36 chance that she will die of the disease. Meet nine ordinary people who are making extraordinary strides to lower those odds even further.

Alisa Savoretti: Helps survivors afford surgery
For three years Alisa Savoretti danced in Las Vegas as the "Lopsided Showgirl," a breast-cancer survivor who was uncertain as to whether she could pay for reconstructive surgery. After she was finally able to proceed with the surgery, Savoretti founded My Hope Chest, a grassroots organization that helps the underprivileged or uninsured afford the roughly $13,500 needed for the three separate surgeries. Not surprisingly, My Hope Chest's greatest challenge is funding, and its wait-list is 100 survivors long. "Our most recent client was missing her breast for 14 years until she found us," says Savoretti. But, she explains, "survivors are just happy to have hope that there will be help one day." Recently Savoretti partnered with the makers of the Genie Bra, which will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the sale of its pink bra to My Hope Chest.

Genie Bra - Review
Queen of Savings: September 29, 2013

I had heard of Genie bras in the past and how comfortable they were supposed to be, but had never experienced them for myself. I was recently given the opportunity to try three of their products, the Milana Bra, Genie Bra Classic and the Cami Shaper.

The Milana Bra is embellished with lace to cover and conceal cleavage while providing three zones of comfort and control, lifting, supporting and shaping the bust zone. This bra is made of 96% Nylon and 4% spandex so it is extremely comfortable and also doubles as a camisole. The Milana Bra does not have any under wires, hooks or straps to dig into your shoulder or back. This bra even includes a magic pouch to hold modesty pads to provide extra boost and coverage and you can get 3 for only $59.97 in white, nude or black.

The Genie Bra Classic also doubles as a camisole like the Milana Bra does and conforms to your shape. The Genie Bra Classic is made from Everlast, the comfort stretch fabric. This bra provides maximum coverage and is ideal for low cut tops, sweaters and dresses and is also ideal to sleep in and you can get 3 for $29.97, which is an amazing price. These bras are available in your typical white, nude and black colors but also many other colors that you may have a hard time finding elsewhere such as Frozen Margarita or Majestic Sapphire.

The final item I got to review is the Cami Shaper. This garment is like a little piece of magic making you look up to 2 sizes smaller! The one piece design provides all around coverage and helps to smooth rolls and bulges with its five zones of comfortable compression targeting all of those problems areas, back, sides, love handles, stomach and muffin top. You can buy three Cami Shapers for only $59.97 in six different color combinations.

If you have as hard of a time as I do finding bras that look good, fit right and are comfortable to wear, you have to check out the Genie line of products. Genie also makes more than just bras, also check out their briefs, pads and leggings. Be sure to check them out on facebook, twitter, Pinterest and YouTube. Share it now!

Genie Bra Fall Colors, Plus New Custom Genie Bra - Review
Andrea's World Reviews: September 26, 2013

Most of you probably saw my review of Genie Bra a couple months ago. If you did, then you already know how incredible Genie Bra is. Well, i am going to say it again anyway, because I recently got some new Genie Bra items, and I obsessed with them too.

So by now everyone has probably heard about Genie Bra, the miracle bra that smooths, shapes, lifts, supports and feels super comfortable all the while. If you have just heard of it in passing, pay attention, because this could change your life.

Genie Bra, to the untrained eye, my look like a mere sports bra, but that could not be any less accurate. Genie Bra truly lives up to it's name. I have owned countless sports bras and every single one was terrible. The quality is not the issue I face with sports bras, but rather the performance.

More specifically, I have two breasts, and I want to look like I have two. Every sports bra I have tried gives me a very unflattering uni-boob. Not I can look plenty unflattering on my own, and I certainly don't need my undergarments conspiring against me.

Genie Bra is the only bra I have found so far that does not have assassin wires stabbing me, ninja straps digging into my shoulders(yet somehow still not supporting me enough) and renegade bands giving me unsightly back blubber. Not only is Genie Bra comfortable, it is also flattering. FINALLY, the best of both worlds.

And since the bra itself if so fashionable, they can even act as an undershirt for low cut tops and no one is the wiser. Of course if people will be seeing it, then having lots of options is very important. That is why I was so thrilled to see the amazing colors that are available for Fall. Fall colors are always my favorites, so I know they would be gorgeous, and they did not disappoint.

I got Royal Ruby:

Regal Amethyst:

They are all GORGEOUS!! Deeper colors are always my favorites, and purple and blue are my favorite colors ever(besides black which is technically not a color, but the absence of color).

These are just as miraculous as the Genie Bras I previously owned, only with even more awesome attitude thanks to these smokin' colors. I love rocking these under my racer-back tanks. It looks so much better than seeing regular bra straps, and feels so much more comfortable, plus the color pop is so stylish.

I could rave about the wonder that is the Genie Bra all day, but since I already gave you the info(twice if you count my last post), I think it would be better to introduce you to the newest and most advanced product in the Genie Bra family. Genie Bra Custom.

That's right, if any of you ladies were hesitant to go for a Genie Bra because of the Sports bra like style, then the Custom is the solution. Genie Bra Custom takes all the fabulous comfort and smoothing properties that made the original so wonderful and makes them even better in the strapless version.

Now you can go open shoulder and not have to worry about showing your straps or lacking support. Dare to bare it, Genie Bra has you covered. It even has a silicone strip on the inside top of each cup to prevent slipping.

But what if you want a bra with straps, but you like standard bra straps that adjust? Never fear. The Genie Bra Custom includes attachable straps. They are adjustable and look perfect with the bra. Not only that, but the Genie Bra Custom is also convertible. You can wear it strapless or with the strars in the traditional position, but with over 30 individual placement options, you can truly customize the fit.

The Genie Bra Custom does halter, criss-cross in the back or the front, and even dual strap cross shoulder(for dresses that are sleeveless only on one side). I have never seen another bra that could do that. It is unbelievable.

I would love to show you how awesome this bra looks in use, but this is a family site and I am certainly not an underwear model. So if you want proof of how great it is, try it yourself. Then you can come back here and thank me, because I know you will love it. Seriously, this is the best bra ever!

New Custom Genie Bra - Review
One Momma Saving Money: September 24, 2013

How often have you bought a top that you loved but couldn’t find the right bra to wear with it? Time and again we struggle with finding the perfect bra to match our tricky tops, but Genie has created the ultimate solution by introducing their NEW Custom Genie Bra—a truly convertible bra featuring over 30 individual hook placements for a perfect customized fit.

The ultimate in multi-way bras, the Custom Genie Bra’s wireless design, soft contour cups and adjustable straps is sure to make this your new go-to bra. Constructed with Everlast stretch fabric material and a knitted wide elastic band, this bra provides lift and support while smoothing trouble areas.

What makes the Custom Genie Bra different from other convertible bras? Many ordinary convertible bras are not seamless, have underwire and only 4 places to attach the hooks. The Custom Genie Bra has 30+ hook placements allowing for a perfect customized fit.

I love to walk on my lunch break/after work. One issue I have with most bras, is the straps keep falling, showing, etc. With the Genie Bra, i am able to style the straps and adjust them the way I want and no falling down. This is also perfect for those dresses/tops that are not made for your typical bra. Nothing worse then a strap showing because the top has a wider scoop neck than you originally thought. You can use the clear straps or go strapless and not have to worry and still get the same support! I am in love with these bras! Plus no more bulging, pinching or re-adjusting! These bras are perfect for everyday use or even for light physical activity! They also come black, nude and white which coordinates with your wardrobe!

The Custom Genie Bra also features a silicone lining along the top seam of the bra which is ideal for those women who are tired of constantly adjusting and pulling up their strapless underpinnings. Below are some examples of the many ways the Custom Genie Bra can be styled:

Great for expectant mothers, new moms and women of all sizes. The Custom Genie bra is available in nude, black and white colors at www.CustomGenieBra.com, and is sold in packs of three for $59.97.

The Custom Genie Bra is the first truly multi-way bra with slots that surround the entire circumference of the bra. The 30+ individual strap placements mean that you can wear a strappy bra no matter how tricky the neckline or top. You can even get rid of the straps all together for a comfortable strapless style.

Soft contour cups custom conform to your shape to help eliminate spillage and "back fat." The Custom Genie Bra is also free of underwire and clasps. Instead, knitted wide support band helps add lift and support and is constructed with Genie's Everlast comfort stretch fabric. Machine washable, the bra comes in nude, black, and white.

Custom Genie Bra Review and Giveaway
Theme Park Mama: September 06, 2013

I have already had a chance to try out the Cami Shaper and the Milana Genie Bra, now they have introduced a all new Custom Genie Bra!

What makes the Custom Genie Bra great is that it has all the comfort of the Genie Bra but it can be worn many ways! You can make it strapless so it's now a must have for sleeveless shirts, or for gowns, or whatever you want to wear a strapless with. Going to the beach and you want to get a tan.. wear a Custom Genie for a no tan line look.

So I keep saying its custom so what else can it do besides be a strapless, you can add the straps provide or glam it up with your own straps, making for a comfy top which has a low neck line so you can be modest but with a little flirt on the side. The sides and back of the Custom Genie Bra are all big for maximum support. You can experiment with 30 different ways to place your straps!

I tried out my black one, which I was happy that I didn't feel like I had to fix myself, most strapless give kinda like pants at the beginning of the day we can't get in but by the end of the day a belt would be nice. The Custom Genie Bra helps keep you in place, with its sticky like band inside the bra. Like the other Genie's you can remove the padding as well.

The Custom Genie Bra is currently available online only at www.customgeniebra.com and not in stores.

Genie Bra Review and Giveaway
Cake Mom: September 05, 2013

I hate bras. I can't help it, but I really hate them. They are uncomfortable, the bra straps are always falling down or twisting, the underwire is poking through the sides into my skin, the cups are malformed after too many washes, and finding the right fit can be difficult (especially when I seem to gain and lose weight first in my bust). My mom has been talking about Genie Bras for the past year and she was disappointed when she could not get away with wearing one under her wedding dress this summer. I had a hard time believing a bra could be THAT comfortable!

Genie Bra describes their bras as a one-style-fits-all undergarment for woman who want it all: comfort, convenience, and sleek curves. Where do I sign up?! The bras are crafted in ever-last comfort stretch fabric with no underwire, no clasps, and no seams. The unique fabric is designed to conform to any cups size without ever losing its shape - even when machine washed and dried. It has a wide band design that lifts and separates and has removable pads for extra support. It is available in a variety of colors and is made of 96% nylon and 4% spandex.

Genie also offers a line of leggings. The Slim & Tone Leggings feature a high waist design with built-in invisible shapers with five zones of comfortable compression, targeting trouble areas - tummy, hips, inner and outer things as well as your butt. It is designed to smooth and tony your body under the bra to the ankles, concealing all of your lumps, bumps, cellulite and bulges. Yeah....I have a few of those!

Review: After using the Genie Bra I can no longer say with such certainty that I hate bras. These bras are amazing and address just about every gripe I have about bras. There is no underwire so they are so comfortable and there is not wire poking into the side of me. The cups are not preformed which means they don't distort. There is padding inside which is adjustable and removable. I have a similar bra from another company and there was no padding which means I could not wear it into the freezer section of the grocery store if you know what I mean. The padding is just enough to keep myself from looking ridiculous without adding more than necessary bulk. They stayed looking great after washing and I did not notice any shrinking. I do, however, suspect that these may run a little small. The straps on the bra and the upper portion of the bra were visible with a lot of my shirts. I don't exactly wear low-cut shirts, but there usually is a bit of upper chest showing. Unfortunately, the bra was also showing. I do wish the cut was a little lower. That being said, I still prefer these over my other bras any day. They are so comfortable that I bet I could even sleep in one!

The leggings had a very soft, yet stretchy feel. I was a little apprehensive about wearing leggings - maybe I am too old? But, after looking at them for weeks on my shelf and debating whether or not to wear them I decided I had nothing to lose - and it gave me an excuse to buy a super cute tunic! They were surprisingly comfortable to wear and were slimming. I received a lot of compliments on my outfit that day so I guess the leggings were a winner! I am now using them as an excuse to buy a long sweater or a knit dress because I think these will look adorable with some high boots in the winter.

Buy it here: Genie Bras are sold in sets of 6 for $60 from geniebra.com ; or individually at retailers including Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, and Target nationwide for $9.99. They are also available through Amazon.

The Slim & Tone Leggings by Genie are sold in sets of 3 for $60 in the classic set of Black, Charcoal, and Cocoa colors from geniebra.com.

Genie Bra Review
Tiffany Reviews it All: September 03, 2013

About Them: the Custom Genie Bra and Slim & Tone Leggings are great for women and girls of all ages. They look adorable tucked into boots with a chunky knit sweater, or under skirts and dresses like shaping opaque stockings.

Genie Bra‘s is like the best company in my books. I hate bra’s with wires or just bra’s in general they are just so uncomfortable and annoying. So I’ve been hitting companies like these without wire, in the more sport bra or comfortable style bra’s. The sizing size is right on, and they stretch so your boobs get a little more room. They are padded and easy to access. I never really liked white bra’s until just now when I found this one. Its white but with a lace over it, so if you have shirts that are lower cut the lace will act like a under shirt, but looks pretty. These bra’s are so comfortable I forget I have them on, no falling straps, they are so close to your chest you wont find crumbs or toys in them at the end of day, and if you sleep with your bra on, these are perfect for it. They have wide variety of colors for each one. The strapless one is great for tube tops and doesn’t budge and no falling down like wired bra’s do. When you wash them slide pads out, wash like normal dry and insert the pads back in. Easy and simple.

The legging are comfortable, they are tight, so I would suggest going up in a size over your normal size if you have a bubble but. I do like how they are soft, they tuck in that extra fat, the belly cover helps hide rolls. They are easy to slide on and off, even considering how tight they are, they look great with long tops, or if you’re at the gym. They do have the spandex type of stretch like material and move with the body. Washing these is easy like washing any other clothes and dry on low heat is the best I noticed for material like these.

Genie Bra Review
Livin' the Mommy Life: August 27, 2013

The Genie Bra
The Genie Bra is the one-style-fits-all bra for the woman who wants it all: comfort, convenience and sleek curves. Crafted in ever-last comfort stretch fabric with no underwire, no clasps and no seams, Genie Bra is the best bra you’ll ever own. Simply slip the Genie Bra on and say goodbye to bulging, pinching and re-adjusting forever. The Genie Bra’s comfort and support also makes it great for higher energy activities like hiking, biking or yoga. The Genie Bra comes in a variety of different colors, including the hottest colors for summer (summer colors available exclusively at GenieBra.com). $9.99 at Walmart, Target and other retailers. https://www.geniecomfort.com/geniebra.php.

I received two Genie Bras in Orchid Leis & Hula Skirt. The new Summer colors are very pretty! Just like the description says, these bras really are super comfy. They are perfect for lounging around at home or exercising. I also like them for sleeping. The Genie Bras are nice and soft and constructed with their Everlast, comfort stretch fabric. These bras are made of 96% nylon and 4% spandex. They include removable pads for extra lift and coverage and are machine washable.

The Milana Bra
The Milana bra offers support as well as the coverage of a cami offering the ultimate in comfort under v-neck tops, wrap dresses and really any blouse you chose to wear when hitting the road. The Milana Bra has an extra panel of seamless lace that gives additional coverage without the bulk and is made of unique fabric that conforms to any cup size without ever losing its shape—even when machine-washed and dried. Available at Target, Walmart and other retailers. Retail price: 3 bras for $60. https://www.geniecomfort.com/milanabra.php

I recieved a black Milana Bra. The addition of the lace in the front gives this bra a pretty, dressier overall look. Other than the lace detail, this bra seems to be the same as the regular Genie Bras. If you’re looking for something that will conceal your cleavage nicely, this bra is for you!

Genie Bra is a soft bra that custom conforms to your shape and doubles as a camisole. It is made from a comfort stretch fabric of 96% Nylon and 4% Spandex and contains removable modesty pads for extra lift and coverage. Plus it has no underwires, hooks, or digging straps which made it so comfortable that I almost forgot that I was even wearing a bra. I wore it to a theme park the other day and it gave support without being super hot. I wore a tank top over it and it gave my outfit a layered look without actually adding another layer of clothing.

These come in a variety of colors and can be found at Walmart and Target for $9.99. Or you can order them at GenieBra.com in packs of 3. They even come with a 60 day money back guarantee.

The Milana Bra by Genie is a soft lace covered Genie Bra that custom conforms to your shape and doubles as a camisole. It is perfect for under lower cut tops, sweaters and dresses because you will be able to see a little of the pretty lace.

These come in packs of 3 in a variety of colors and come with a 60 day money back guarantee.

The Cami Shaper by Genie is the ultimate 3 in 1 garment: it’s a camisole, a shaper and a bra all in one. The one piece seamless design gives you 360° of slimming technology that helps smooth rolls & bulges and eliminate layers. I wore it under a tight fitting dress and it made a HUGE difference in my shape because you weren’t able to see the “fat rolls” like you would have if I hadn’t worn it. Plus the back of the dress looked so much nicer without having the lines that regular bra straps would have left.

They come with removable modesty pads for extra lift and coverage and contain 5 compression zones to help flatten your back, sides, stomach, love handles and muffin top.

National Relaxation Day: Tips for Making The Most of Your Me Time
Thrifty Jinxy: August 15, 2013

Talk about an awesome holiday for busy, stressed out people! Today, Thursday, August 15th, is National Relaxation Day. That means it’s the perfect time to take a break (after work of course, since those mean old employers don’t acknowledge the holiday) and indulge in some much needed “me” time. Need a few ideas? Below are a few tips on how to get your relaxation on for today’s holiday or any time you can take a few minutes to pamper yourself:

5 minutes: Create a calming atmosphere wherever you are with relaxing new home scents. Air Wick’s new National Park Collection has four new fragrances inspired by some of the nation’s top parks. Head to your local drugstore to pick up one of their Plug-In scents or candles, and get ready to bring the calming scents of nature into your at-home spa.

10-20 minutes: Brighten your face with a quickie facial. Pick up the Freeman Beauty Rose Brightening Facial Mask at your local drugstore for just $1.99. The mask is ready to go, just pop it on your clean face, wait 10-20 minutes, and then remove. Rub in the leftover serum, and apply the rest of your nightly moisturizer, and head to bed.

1 hour+: Go to a local department store and get your makeup done! Elizabeth Arden counters at Macy’s, can give you a makeup makeover and show you tips and tricks for looking your best without stressing about whether a shade looks good on your beautiful face.

Half Day or more: Go get a relaxing massage, spa treatment, or enjoy a restful meditation with a Yoga class. You can look up a spa or local Yoga center near you on SpaFinder.com, book an appointment, and get ready to relax. The site has listings for all types of wellness services from facials for sensitive skin to spin classes. They can also help you book your next vacation at a five star travel destination.

What to Wear: Whether you decide to hang at home or head out for spa or wellness activities, pop on a comfortable outfit. Leggings are an easy option, like the Slim & Tone Leggings by Genie, which have a built-in shaper and high waist to smooth out any trouble areas on your lower half while at Yoga, lounging with your favorite book or taking a restorative walk on the beach.

Milana by Genie Bra and Cami Shaper Review and Giveaway
Theme Park Mama: August 12, 2013

Are you wearing a Genie Bra? If not you're missing out! I am in love with the Genie Bra!

For me I think the Genie Bra was one of the first "As seen on Tv" ads that stood out when it was being played on tv, now you can find the Genie Bra in Walmart!

The Genie Bra is an awesome full coverage bra. The best part is, there are no snaps! You pull it over your head. I was really impressed with the Milana by Genie Bra. As soon as I received it, I placed it on and right away noticed its comfort! The bra has a padded insert for nipple protection. You can also remove the foam if you're wanting a more plain look but the foam is there so you're not telling the world "Look at me I am cold!" basically. The foam does not add to your boobs making them bigger then what they are, it complements your boobs and gives them a great round shape.

The Milana by Genie Bra has wide sides keeping all that unwanted skin in, and comfy. It also has wider straps for better support. I find that the Genie Bra would make a great nursing bra! With my 5 kids I have tried it all and I hated the nursing bras its like "okay my nipple does not line up with this hole so now what?" With the Genie bra just lift a side and you're good to go! No messing with a clip no messing with your boob to get it in that perfect spot just lift. The wide sides and cups keep you covered cool and in place!

The Genie Bra has the support of a sports bra but with the flattering of a bra making it so you don't have a uniboob and are not squished flat so you have nothing. You get a nice full round shape. I tested my bra out while working a 5 hour shift it was so comfy I forgot I even had one. The Genie bra comes in 2 types plain, and now with lace. I really love the lace idea because if your wearing a top that is well a little low the Genie Bra steps in and covers making it a really nice proper blouse.

Now on to the Genie Bra Cami Shaper. The Cami Shaper is a great peace for those of us who want to hide a little of our extra baggage :) It is your Genie Bra on top but from what would be the band on the Genie Bra is now comes down, and tucks in those extra pounds but not killing you in the process. Its a light weight fabric that covers your tummy tucking it in but leaving you looking and feeling great. I am now switching between the 2 often for work there are a few outfits that its nice to have a little tuck lol.

I really love these products from Genie, and I know you will as well. Find them at your local Walmart or you can view their website here.

Win Genie Bra and one Cami-Shaper of your own! Fill out the rafflecopter below for your chance to win, offer open to U.S. residents only. Contest will end 8/30/13

Genie Bra and Cami Shapers Review and Giveaway!
7 Kids and Us: August 11, 2013

Being a mom of 2, I am always needing a bra that I can throw on and run to the store, or down the street. I have always hated the bras with clips, because that takes more time and work to get on.

I remember seeing the commercials on TV about GenieBra and I was hoping they would be all they said they would.

I have actually been sleeping in one of my Genie Bras, it's that comfortable!

Ok, this is a product I didn't think would help me at all. I figured once you are over a certain size, even shapewear is useless. I was so wrong!

I recently put one of the CamiShapers under my tank top, and ALL day I was asked if I was losing weight! I didn't think it would help as much as it did and now I don't know how I have gone without it!

Who Said Nothing in Life is Free?: August 11, 2013

Genie Bra is perfect for girls heading off to college who are looking for cute bras that will look cute and be comfortable during all-nighters spent studying, fun yoga classes and other college activities that require a versatile bra that gives more shape than a sports bra.

Crafted in ever-last comfort stretch fabric with no underwire, no clasps and no seams, Genie Bra is the best bra you’ll ever own. They look adorable peeking out of trendy cut-out drop arm tanks while keeping you cool with its breathable fabric, and their cups give you shape like your usual t-shirt bra. Cami Shaper Helps Camouflage Your Trouble Spots
Smart Mom Picks: August 8, 2013

I envy women who can have multiple children and still be as thin as they were in college. Even though I only have one child, my body still has plenty of pregnancy related lumps and bumps.

I should probably embark on a rigorous diet and exercise program, but I really lack the discipline to stick with it. So, I’m a huge fan of shapewear for those times when I want to look my best.

The Cami Shaper is the newest offering from the makers of the Genie Bra. It is made from the same material as the Genie Bra and offers five zones of compression: back, sides, stomach, love handles, and muffin top.

The Cami Shaper is definitely more comfortable than other similar products I’ve tried. It didn’t bother me to wear the Cami Shaper all day and I normally only break out shapewear for special occasions.

The Cami Shaper has the same removable pads as the Genie Bra, but they don’t seem to shift around as much in the Cami Shaper. I pulled the pads out of my Genie Bra right away, but left them in my Cami Shaper.

As far as slimming properties go, I had two people tell me I looked like I had lost weight the first time I wore the Cami Shaper. This was enough to make me feel much less self conscious about the extra pounds in my midsection.

The company says you can wear the Cami Shaper on its own as a tank top, but I wouldn’t recommend this. It made me look thinner when worn as a layer underneath a tunic, but you could see plenty of bulges when I was just wearing the Cami Shaper. Unless you’re model thin and don’t really need shapewear in the first place, plan on wearing this underneath your clothes.

You can buy the Cami Shaper on the Genie Comfort website in sets of three for $59.97 or pick up individual Cami Shapers for $19.99.

Genie Bra Grants Your Wish for Stylish Back to School Support
Pretty Opinionated: August 7, 2013

I received a complimentary package from Genie Bra in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.

With back to school season upon us, it’s time to start shopping for clothes once again. If you have teenage daughters, that means bra shopping too! Of course, even if you don’t have teen daughters, you may need a little extra support yourself for all those open houses you’ll be attending. Whatever your bra needs, Genie Bra grants your wish for comfortable and stylish support!

I was an early bloomer. By the time I was 9, I needed a bra. By 13, I was bigger than just about anyone in my class. Now, well, I’m definitely still on the busty side! I can’t even tell you how hard it is to find a bra that is comfortable yet still holds everything where it’s supposed to go. Maybe you know. The thing is, I hate wearing bras! My shoulders are too narrow, so the straps always end up around my upper arms. I can’t stand the way the hooks feel against my skin. Underwire? Forget it! I’d rather be hung by it than wear it around my chest and have it digging into my flesh all day.

I also don’t have a fortune to spend on fancy bras. Sure, I could go into one of those high-end shops, get a fitting and walk out with a $50 scrap of material. That’s probably low-balling it too. My friend once paid $75 for a bra! Do you know how many books I could buy with $75? A bunch, that’s how many! Especially since I read a lot of indie authors.

So what makes the Genie Bra different?
A lot, that’s what! Seriously, this is the most comfortable bra I have ever, ever, ever put on. I’m not prone to exaggeration, especially when it comes to undergarments, so that’s saying a lot. It fits snugly without cutting off my circulation. It keeps everything exactly where it’s supposed to, and it looks pretty darn good! Granted, I don’t look as good as the Genie Bra model above, but that’s definitely not the bra’s fault!

Now, if you need a little extra padding, you can leave the pads in the bra. If, like me, you need a little LESS padding, you can slip them right out of the “magic pouch.” Easy in, easy out. Even if you are busty, sometimes you want to wear the pads to provide a little extra coverage when you’re wearing a tighter shirt. You know, so you’re not blinding people with your headlights or whatever strange phrase they use to describe it when your nipples are poking through. That’s just not an attractive look, sorry Hollywood!

Cute enough to peek through!
I love that the Genie Bra is cute enough to peek through the top of a low-cut shirt. I have a few shirts that I bought on clearance once and didn’t realize just how low-cute they were. I need to wear something underneath them, but a full-length tank top just makes them look misshapen and bulky. The Genie Bra is the perfect solution. The top actually looks kind of like a tank top if you didn’t know that it was a bra. Plus, the Genie Bra comes in so many colors, it’s easy to coordinate with any outfit!

Perfect for dorm life!
I think the Genie Bra is a perfect bra for girls heading off to live on campus. I remember the semester I spent at a far-away college (only one semester, don’t ask. In my defense, I maintained a 3.8 when I moved back home!). I always had weird issues getting changed in front of other people. Wearing a cute bra can help college girls feel more confident. It may sound silly, but imagine walking around in cute underwear getting ready in the group bathroom, then imagine doing it in your stretched out granny panties (you know you have at least one pair!) and saggy bra. Which one would make you feel more confident?

Bottom line, you really have to try the Genie Bra if you’re looking for stylish, comfortable support. I’ve worn it on the hottest days of summer and it didn’t make me feel icky the way other sports bras can. It really doesn’t get more comfortable than this. At $9.99 a piece, it doesn’t get less costly either! Right now, you can snag the classic collection for even less than that at the Genie Bra shop! I received the Water Color Collection, but it’s only available for a limited time, so you may want to hurry if you want those colors!

Genie Bra Review
My So Called Balanced Life: July 28, 2013

As a woman, I am always looking for more affordable, comfortable and fashionable undergarments. I honestly hate the feeling of being saddled with an unbearable under-wire bra. Additionally, I had a horrible abdominal surgery a few months ago which has left me with swelling and pain all the way to my sternum so wearing an uncomfortable under-wire bra is torture. At my age and breast size walking around with the “girls” free isn’t an option. I am thrilled to have discovered Genie Bra! Genie Bra is crafted in ever-last comfort stretch fabric. You won’t find any under-wire, clasps and seams with this bra. Additionally, the unique fabric conforms to any size cup and never loses its shape even after it is machine washed. The bra features a wide band that comfortably lifts and separates and has removable pads for extra support.

The Genie Bras are available in a variety of colors and various sizes. They recently released their Water Color Collection. There are 9 new colors in the collection all inspired by favorite vacation destinations. I received a 3 pack of Genie Bras for evaluation purposes. The colors I received were the South Beach color collection the colors are Ocean Front, Mint Mojito and Crushed Red Pepper. I have been wearing the bras for a couple of weeks, and I am thoroughly impressed with them. The bras target 3 zones of comfortable compression. These zones offer comfort and control to lift, support, smooth and shape the bust, side and back. Furthermore, the way the bras are crafted I don’t have an abundance of cleavage spilling out. I am quite modest and am constantly covering up my cleavage I don’t have to do that when I wear the Genie Bra.

The bras are exceptionally comfortable and don’t smash the girls down; like other compression/sport style bras do. Another thing I truly love about the bras is they are extremely affordable! A 3 pack of Genie Bras is $29.99 that is a far cry from the $52 for 1 bra that I was purchasing before! Another feature I appreciate is the pop of color the bras add to my undergarment collection. I can wear a colorful bra with a tank top and reveal a pop of color.

Furthermore, the bras are machine washable! YES, no more hand washing my bras! Genie Bras are perfect for all girls young and old. This year while you are doing your back to school shopping be sure and purchase some Genie Bras for comfortable, convenient and affordable under garments. Genie doesn’t just specialize in bras they also have a wide array of other undergarments such as Leggings, Briefs, Cami Shapers and more. I personally can’t wait to try the Cami Shapers! For more information, please visit the website. Also connect with them via social media outlets Twitter and Facebook.

rachael : i wear high. pantyhose come approximate over, great. you attach it here, there were two extra hooks that holds your bra, is that how it works? you hook those on to the bra and they lift everything up, so it kind of gives you some cleavage.

rachael : do you think it ys easier than wearing the components that you had? definitely, definitely. i had so much going on and it was so tight and constricting, i'm gla i found this, now i just have to get control top pantyhose and i'm good to go.

rachael :loos minutes. you leave this on -- in the microwave two minutes, approximate put on, wait for it to cool. it's not hot, wait for it to cool down, easy t fiveouch and take it off, unroll and done. i tried it on my daughter, she's 16, longer hair, thicker hair and it lasted today, as well.

rachael : that is amazing. > yes.

Soft Seamless Bras

I’ve been having trouble finding a bra the fits me properly here lately. I’m pretty uneven up top. So, that’s complicated bra shopping significantly. I have always worn a wire in my bras, too. So, it’s been a trying time to find bras for me. Then, I was sent an email about the soft seamless bras called Genie Bras and I figured it was worth a try.

The Genie Bras feature a comfort stretch fabric without a wire. There are no clasps or seams. It has a wide band design that lifts and separates without an uncomfortable underwire. Plus, its unique fabric conforms to any cup size and never loses its shape. I’ve washed mine and it’s yet to lose its shape. You simply slip the Genie Bra on and you’re good to go. Besides the fact that they are soft seamless bras, I was very happy to learn that they have removable pads for extra support. I like that part because they help to even me out a bit. I can move the pads around to give my girls a better shape. It also improves my self-confidence because I’m not concerned about my bra looking weird under my shirt.

I really like these soft seamless bras I got. I may look into getting the Genie Bra in additional colors (they just came out with a new line of colors that are perfect for summer called their Water Color Collection available at Wal-mart). So, what do you think of the Genie Bra? Do you wish you had one? Then, enter my giveaway below! WIN!

One Laughing Lindsay reader will win their own soft seamless bras from Genie Bra.

Genieâ„¢ brand, makers of the number one selling bra in America, the Genie Braâ„¢, is proud to announce a partnership with My Hope Chestâ„¢, the only national charity of its kind focused solely on breast reconstruction for uninsured patients. As a part of the Granting Wishes campaign, Genie will donate 20% of proceeds from sales of a designated pink Genie Bra to My Hope Chest to be used for reconstructive surgeries, ultimately helping women realize a dream and put their cancer journey behind them.

More than 22,000 uninsured women a year win the battle against breast cancer but lose one or both breasts in the process, and are unable to attain immediate reconstruction based on their economic situation. Many women who seek help from My Hope Chest have been living for years minus one or both breasts, making the partnership all the more vital according to Alisa Savoretti, founder of My Hope Chest.

Here are the ones I was sent to review. Comfortable does not even begin to describe these bras. They are truly the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. So soft and the best part...seamless. No more tugging at bra straps and ill fitting bras. The pink one is from the My Hope Chest campaign.

Follow their sizing on their website exactly. Even bras vary based on their guidelines to what size you should get. I ordered everything based off their size charts and everything fit great. I did find that these don't offer quite the support that my under-wire bras do but these are 100 times more comfortable while still offering plenty of support.

About Genieâ„¢ Brand
Genie Braâ„¢ is the one-style-fits-all bra for women who want it all: comfort, convenience and sleek curves. Crafted in ever-last comfort stretch fabric with no underwire, no clasps and no seams, simply slip the Genie Bra on and say goodbye to bulging, pinching and re-adjusting forever. Genie Bra is now the number one selling bra in America based on research by NPD Group, and its success has inspired a complete head-to-toe product offering including leggings and cami shapers for a flawless look. Genie Brand is manufactured and distributed by Tristar Products, Inc. based out of Fairfield, NJ. For more information, visit www.GenieBra.com.

Here is a look inside the bra where you can remove the cups if you so desire.

The also have the nice milana bra. I really like this one because I can pair it with one of my low cut shirts and no boobs or bra straps show. Just a nice lacy design.

I also received a cami shaper. Wow....this is by far my favorite piece. Comfort while completely smoothing out all my back and tummy lumps.

Here is a stock photo from their website. I did feel it worked a lot like the photo but I am definitely not comfortable publishing pics of me in a bra!

Not only does it smooth me out but the comfort level is through the roof with this cami that I could easily wear this all day long and every single day.

Pair the cami shaper up with their slim and tone leggings and you have full body shapewear!

These will be the perfect leggings come winter to pair with a long tunic or a cute dress. These are better than regular leggings because they smooth out the rolls instead of emphasizing them! These are as comfortable as my yoga pants that I am known to wear around the house a lot.

Overall I feel like Genie makes bras that are for women to wear every day and be in complete comfort while still looking good. It is so hard to find a bra that fits and doesn't hurt my shoulders after hours of wearing them. These Genie Bras have really gone the distance for me and even after 18 plus hours of wearing them in a day they are just as comfortable at the end of the day as when I put them on.

Confessions of a Curvy Mom: Back Fat Is Ruining My Summer Style
The Stir: June 14, 2013

Have you ever slipped into some really cute top or dress and thought, "I look fantastic." Then, you do a swivel to catch the view of the backside and the confidence you had just seconds ago crumbles. Why? Back fat -- that fleshy patch the protudes over and under the back of your bra. Ugh. It's the worst. Can you relate?

It's one of the hallmarks of hot weather. It can no longer be hidden by the thick sweaters or blazers I adore during the winter months. Summer clothes are just too thin to mask any imperfections. I used to think it was because of my weight. Nearly five years after my son was born, I am still not back to my pre-pregnancy shape and I assumed that that was why. Wrong!

This problem affects women of all sizes -- not just those on the softer, plumper side. It's all about the fit of your undergarment. So lately I have been on a quest for bras that don't pinch and pucker my back and it hasn't been easy. It's almost impossible to avoid with regular brassieres -- unless you are shaped like a rail-thin, skin and bones supermodel. But these amazing finds will have save your sexy summer wardrobe. They certainly have done wonders for mine.

First up, the Cami Shaper by Genie:

I swear it's as soft as it is cute. It helps smooth everything out, incredibly comfy and, at $19.99 for a set of 3, it won't break the bank. Coolest part, is that it comes in a rainbow of colors that will compliment just about anything in your wardrobe. (camishaper.com)

The Genie bra is also pretty amazing. It has the look of a sports bra but it still gives you a nice shape and a seamless silhouette.

At 3 for $29.97, it's also a steal. Plus, the new Water Color Collection includes perfect summer hues like orange and yellow. (www.geniecomfort.com)

Then there's Spanx's Bra-llelujah, which you will definitely be thanking the underwear Gods for.

I don't know how they did it, but this bra literally blends into your back. It looks amazing under the thinnest clothes. At $62, it is an investment, but a worthwhile one. (www.spanx.com)

Is back fat an issue for you? What solutions have you found?

“Product Review: Genie Bra Collection”
Feature on Genie Bra, Milana Bra, Camishaper & Slim & Tone Leggings

Product Review: Genie Bra Collection
Love from Elle: May 31, 2013

There is something about the simple things in life that make life a little easier and a little more comfortable. Finding a perfect comfortable shoe, finding the perfect dress for a date or outing with your spouse, finding a great pair of jeans that gives you that vavava-voom and makes you feel good. Among all of those fabulous finds, is one item that every woman wishes for. The top of the list for women is... finding the perfect bra!

Women of all shapes and sizes want to feel comfortable when they are out and about, trying to run errands for their family, while at work or even a night on the town with the girls. We all fuss and muss over wires sticking into our sides, uncomfortable stitching, mis-sizing and clasps that break or bend making for an terrible feeling in one of our most tender areas.

No need to worry about those issues anymore, because if you haven't heard about the Genie Bra before today, by the end of this review you will DEFINITELY be wanting one for yourself!

I am somewhat of a busty woman (I fluctuate between a C and D cups) and a size 12/14. So many times if I have to purchase lingerie, I have some trouble with deciding on what size to get and what cuts of the bra are going to be comfortable for my figure. I also have broader shoulders, so smaller strap bras cut into my shoulders and make for uncomfortable days, especially if I have to be "out and about".

I had the most fun reviewing the Genie Bra. I had been a fan ever since watching them on the infomercials and then seeing them go from T.V. into stores with the "As Seen on T.V." sign. At first look of the Genie Bra, I thought that it was going to be more of a sports bra fit, since I have gotten used to getting by in day-to-day functions with a comfy sports bra. It was just the opposite. The Genie Bra isn't rigid at all, like a sports bra and there was no evidence of a "uniboob" which I was afraid of. It has a slight inseam down the middle that isn't too conforming but comfy and just enough to separate and slightly lift. I did think the pads were a little awkward and it took me a second to get them in the right position. I removed the pads for my daily wearing because they aren't really necessary to me.

I really liked the Milana Bra also. This is one that can double as a going out bra and also as a camisole underneath of a lowcut shirt. I was surprised at how comfortable it was with the lace overlay. I thought in black it would be the perfect touch to the "little black dress" that may show more cleavage than you bargained for. I did notice that it is a little more snug than the Genie bra, so if you are an in-between size, you may want to go one size larger rather than dropping down a size.

I am currently in my "C" stage, so this fit perfectly for me, but I could see a little more issues if I start to gain weight again and move towards my "D" size.

The Cami Shaper, is one of the most comfortable cami's that I have run across in a long time. It is really soft, being made from the same material as the Genie Bra and it also has the built in bra area with removable pads like the Genie and the Milana Bra's. I liked it but I'm not totally in love with it and I'll explain why. I wore it (bra-less) under one of my more form fitting t-shirts and found that it in really provided a uniform look from my shoulders down to my waist. Which was perfect, because I was worried about whether or not it would rise up, where I would have to tug at it all day and it stayed in place!

The only issue that I had with it is that it didn't quite provide as much support for me as the Genie Bra and Milana Bra did because it lacks the seaming around my underbreast, so if you are a woman who is busty and doesn't have the perfect perky breast, then you may find some difficulty. If they ever develop it with the seam under the breast then this will be the perfect cami!

In all of the pictures above you can see me in the Slim & Tone Leggings and I don't ever want to take these off! They are the best leggings that I own and literally I will buy them ONLY from the Genie Bra from now on. I have a slight pouch, even after dieting and exercise, after giving birth to 5 children and it completely sucked me in! And it did NOT make me feel like I was suffocating under a girdle. They were so very comfortable!

I thought at first that they would be really thin. I thought I would have to worry about them tearing or even not being able to wear them anywhere except for under pants and or skirts (or a really long shirt). This is not the case. Genie Bra did a great job with ensuring that the leggings are both thick and comfortable, and also totally conforming to your figure. I received these in 1X (although I'm a 12/14) to make sure that they would fit, because I am slightly more hippy and thick in the thigh area. I could have gone down a size.

Initially (putting them on) they are pretty tight to help hold you in but after a couple of hours the fabric gives slightly to your shape. So if you want to make sure that you are strapped in all day, then get your perfect size. However if you are looking for a legging that is comfy to wear and gives you some support, go a size up.

Would I Recommend the Genie Bra?
Oh gosh...YES, YES and triple YES. I literally fell asleep in my Genie Bra (which I was unable to do in a regular bra for many years now) and had no problems of poking wires, uncomfortable seams or even sore breasts. It is by far the most comfortable bra that I have come across in a long time. I am past the age of trying to find a "beauty" bra for my every day dealings in life. I need something that is durable and can uphold all day travel, children and will give me comfort if I have to be out and about all day. The genie bra does exactly that.

The Genie Bra is really my "no-frills" everyday bra and the Milana Bra is my "sexier" going out bra. If I need a uniform look in my upper section, I will use the cami and my leggings. Well, I find just about any reason to wear them! Whether it is under a skirt or with a t-shirt and cute sneakers.

I honestly could use all of their products, would wear all of their products and I can't say that I was even mildly disappointed with any of them. As I mentioned before, if you are an in-between size or even unsure of your size, size yourself up.

They have 60 day money back guarantee and a fair exchange policy. If you chose the wrong size, according to their website: "Simply contact our customer care team and they will help you exchange for the right size!". I can't even count how many times I have walked into and out of a lingerie shop or department store with the wrong size undergarment and had issues with exchanging (even if I didn't wear it when I got home!).

I think one of the best things about the Genie Bra collections are that they are extremely versatile. It is not just a bra, but can double as a cami. They are not just leggings, but they can double as tights and keep you well-formed under clothing. If you want something that has color or is a little more flashy and want to wear a layered look, the Genie Bra & Cami-Shaper have great additional colors available too!

Page 3.

What’s the rule for choosing the appropriate bra based on the fabric you’re wearing? For example, what’s the best type of bra to wear under a cotton tee? Silk shirt? etc?

For cotton t-shirts, many women prefer a seamless, molded cup bra with smooth cups. This style, commonly called the “t-shirt bra” is the #1 selling bra style in America. The t-shirt bra’s smooth, molded cups disappear easily under both cotton and tricky, clingy fabrics like silk and jersey, but keep you supported. One of my favorite seamless bra options for this look is the Genie Bra.

It really disappears under everything and is a great option for women who find underwire bras uncomfortable. There are also women who like their bra to peek through a little bit in silk tops, so they will pick lacier styles. Another option for thin and clingy fabrics is a cami, and Genie also has a great Cami-Shaper that smoothes and cinches in your midsection comfortably. It comes in colors like nude and black that disappear seamlessly under a multitude of fabrics.

Genieâ„¢ Announces First Recipient of Granting Wishes Campaign and Answers the Call for Style and Comfort for Breast Cancer Survivors
PR Newswire: May 30, 2013

Florida resident and mother of three, Ruth Ann Peavey was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998, just two years after losing her husband to colon cancer. Although her life was saved by a single mastectomy, losing her breast made her feel incomplete.

"The day my staples were taken out I went and removed my shirt, and for the first time in my life I was physically sick at the sight of myself. I sat on the floor and wept," says Ruth Ann . Last week, Ruth Ann crossed the finish line on her 14-year road to full recovery when Dr. Antonio Gayoso of St. Petersburg, FL performed a reconstruction surgery restoring her breast. The surgery was covered 100% by Genie through the Granting Wishes campaign.

"The Granting Wishes campaign is all about taking action and creating a positive change in a woman's life," said Keith Mirchandani , CEO, Tristar Products, Inc., makers of the Genie brand. "My Hope Chest is pioneering change for women in need, and we are very proud to be part of such a life-changing effort. We listen very closely to our fans, and we quickly learned that the Genie Bra has been instrumental for cancer patients during recovery and beyond due to its comfort and lack of wires. This spurred our interest in helping cancer survivors even more."

For women like Ruth Ann who have undergone breast cancer treatment, the seamless Genie Bra and Milana Bra serve as comfortable and stylish options that make women look and feel great. It is designed with no underwire or clasps and includes pockets, which allow for the easy use of prosthetics. In particular, the Milana Bra, designed with lace, answers the call for this special community of women who desire more beautiful and flattering bras during their journey to breast cancer recovery.

*Through the Granting Wishes campaign, Genie is donating a portion of sales from a designated pink Genie Bra to fund breast reconstruction surgeries for women on the My Hope Chest waiting list.

7 Bra Mistakes You're Probably Making & Tips on How to Fix Them
: May 9, 2013

Ugh. Bras. We can't live without 'em, but to say finding one that fits well, lifts and separates the way it's supposed to, and makes us look amazing in our clothes seems like an impossible feat, to say the least.

But as it turns out, a lot of us are making bra shopping way more difficult than it has to be. (Everything is our fault. Face it.)

Last week, I had the pleasure of chatting with Jené Luciani, style expert and author of The Bra Book -- and she gave me some easy tips for how to find the perfect bras -- and how to care for them properly so we remain happy with them.

OMG, you guys -- so many of us are making major bra mistakes. (I definitely am.)

1. Look in the mirror -- If your bra is not laying straight across your back, if your boobs are spilling out of the top, or if the straps are cutting into you and the band is giving you bra-line-bulge -- you're wearing the wrong size bra. (Guilty as charged.)

2. Get professionally fitted -- This means going to a specialty or department store that has certified bra fitters, not your local lingerie joint where some 18-year-old lets you into the dressing room and tries to sell you her most expensive bra. And it's important that whoever measures you actually busts out the measuring tape instead of trying to guess your size by looking at you.

3. Be open minded -- What you think your bra size is and what your bra size actually is are probably two different things. And don't be surprised if your band size is smaller than you think and your cup size is larger. Don't laugh or cringe when you find out your real size after being professionally measured. Just go with it.

4. Stick to your band size -- Alright, confession time. I measure at a 34, but always buy a 36 because the 34 feels so tight. But bras are supposed to feel snug at first. They'll stretch out after an hour or so, at which point they'll fit correctly. If you buy a size up, when it stretches out, it winds up being too big. (No wonder I'm always tugging on mine.)

5. Stock up -- Jené recommends that every woman have the following in her lingerie drawer: 2 nude bras; 2 black bras; one strapless or convertible style; and 1 seamless, wireless bra for comfort. (Yes, you need more than one or two, ladies.) FYI, The Genie Bra is a great option as far as seamless bras go. It looks flawless under your clothes, and it's so comfortable, you might not even realize you have it on!

6. Re-measure and Replace -- Jené also says it's a good rule of thumb to get measured and replace your bras about once a year. And if you experience pregnancy, weight loss or gain, or another life change, it's probably a good idea to get measured again.

7. Wash often -- Ok, so I really suck at this one. Did you know you're supposed to wash your bras in between every single use? I didn't. I wear those babies over and over again. (Gross?) The oil from our skin breaks down the elasticity of the fabric if we don't wash them every time, which means they won't last as long, which means we have to go out and spend more money on new ones a lot sooner. (Fail.)

TAMPA - Ruth Peavey is getting her first check-up after reconstruction surgery.

In a little pain, her spirit is soaring, because her dream took 14 years to become a reality.

Diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 39, she said, “I had a lumpectomy and it was followed up by a single mastectomy."

She had insurance and was offered reconstruction, but declined. “After going through two surgeries and dealing with all the testing involved, I didn't want to go through surgery again. So I decided I could handle this. I could be without a breast and it wouldn't bother me.”

But it did.

“It was the fact of the scar. It was the fact that when I looked at myself, I didn't feel like a whole woman. I know I should be thankful, and I am that I’m cancer-free, but there's something about losing a breast that doesn't make you feel complete as a woman.”

But by that time, her husband had retired, and they had no health insurance.

She struggled with her self-image for more than a decade and then, “I heard of My Hope Chest on our local news and I thought this is a great organization. I'm going to go on their web site and see.”

My Hope Chest - based out of St. Petersburg - was created by a local breast cancer survivor who also needed reconstruction but couldn't' afford it. Her name is Ailsa Savoretti. “My Hope Chest is the only national non-profit funding breast reconstruction for uninsured and under-insured breast cancer survivors. Our services pick up where all the other breast cancer organizations leave off, providing the final step of breast cancer treatment which is not being met for the uninsured at this time.”

Despite doctors, like St. Pete’s Antonio Gayoso, donating their time, there are still expenses like OR fees and the implants themselves that cost money.

Genie Bra recently partnered with My Hope Chest to create The Granting Wishes campaign, funding surgery costs for My Hope Chest clients. Ruth Ann was the first recipient.

She says, “I expect this to make a big difference. I expect to feel completely different about myself. I expect my confidence to go up.

Twenty percent of the proceeds from a designated pink Genie Bra will go to My Hope Chest to fund surgeries like Ruth’s. One-hundred percent of her costs were covered, and there is a long waiting list behind her.

Mastectomy patient gets unique wish granted

Highlands Today: May 21, 2013

LAKE PLACID-In 1998, Ruth Anne Peavey, mother of three children, underwent a single mastectomy just two years after losing her husband to colon cancer.

She thought she was emotionally prepared for the change in her body.

Turns out, she was wrong.

"The day my staples were taken out, I went and removed my shirt, and for the first time in my life I was physically sick at the sight of myself. I sat on the floor and wept," remembered the Lake Placid resident. "Every time you take off your shirt, there is a part of you that is missing as a woman."

After 14 years of waiting, Peavey is going to gain back part of her lost womanhood.

She is the first recipient of the Granting Wishes campaign - a partnership between Genie, makers of the Genie Bra, and My Hope Chest, a non-profit group that provides funding for breast reconstruction surgeries for uninsured and under-insured breast cancer survivors who've had a mastectomy.

Peavey underwent surgery Monday with Dr. Antonio Gayoso of St. Petersburg and will have to do follow-up visits for the next four months.

Now 55 years old, Peavey was 39 when she had her mastectomy.

She wants people to understand that she thanks God every day for being alive and it's not vanity for women who've lost their breasts during mastectomy to want part of their old self back.

It's an emotional need, she explained, a self-doubt, a sense of not feeling as complete women.

"There is something about just having one breast," she said.

Plus, there are practical problems to deal with.

Getting into a bathing suit can be hard, the prosthesis has to be replaced every two to three years and can be heavy when worn.

"I'm excited," Peavey said in an interview last week, adding she had no hesitation sharing such a private matter because she wants more women like her to take advantage of such programs.

As a part of the Granting Wishes campaign, Genie will donate 20 percent of the proceeds from sales of a designated pink Genie Bra, which has no wires and which has been "instrumental for cancer patients during recovery and beyond due to its comfort," stated Keith Mirchandani, CEO of Tristar Products Inc., makers of the Genie brand, in a news release. "

More than 22,000 uninsured women a year win the battle against breast cancer but lose one or both breasts in the process, and are unable to attain immediate reconstruction based on their economic situation, according to Alisa Savoretti, founder of My Hope Chest.

Many women who seek help from My Hope Chest have been living for years minus one or both breasts, making the partnership between the nonprofit group and the company more vital, Savoretti added.

Genie Bra Review

As you know it is Mother’s Day and mothers across the world are celebrating. Sometimes it can be difficult to think about a gift for mom because she already has so much. Luckily when it comes to gifts for mom we have a lot of choices. Are you looking for a last minute gift for mom? I may have the perfect solution for you.

BRAS…
Every women in the US has heard of them. Many can’t stand wearing them but do because it is a necessity. If you are like my mother you can’t stand under wire and rip the wires out of any new bra you get. You might be destroying your bras because that painful under wire is just too much to bare. Then there are the seams. Certain bras make your back fat look enormous under clothing. It almost appears that certain bras draw attention to that area instead of detracting from it.

Bras by Genie are one style fits all bras for women who want to be comfortable while looking good. These bras are made to be comfortable and convenient. Each bra is designed to have elegant curves that naturally contour to a women’s body. There are 3 styles of bras made by Genie plus a legging garment made specifically to smooth and contour your body. These bras do not have wire in them! They are made for women, girls and especially moms. The fabric is breathable and smooth. You can wash these garments and they won’t loose shape. The unique fabric conforms to any cup size so as long as you fit into one of their available chest sizes you won’t have to worry about if they will fit your cup size.

After witnessing mom destroy bra after bra over the years I decided it was time to find something that has all the qualities in a bra that mom will like without the wires. The best part is mom can find these bras at most major retail stores { even her favorite store, Walmart} and she won’t need to rip apart her garments to get the wires out.

I found Genie bras at a store and was interested in them so I contacted the company to see if I could review them and a couple days later they contacted me for a review.

I received 3 items from the Genie line: the original Genie bra, Milana bra and Cami Shaper. I fell in love with all 3 as soon as I tried them on. I can’t say I will want to go back to my old bras, ever.

  •
  • The original Genie Bra is so comfortable and if you are ordering off of the Genie Bra website you get a set of 6 bras for $60! You can also pick them up at stores like Walmart for $9.99 each. That is a tremendous bargain for such a comfortable bra. I received the beige bra, it fit well and was true to size but was not my favorite of the 3 bras I received. Genie bra is good for those who recently had a mastectomy or other surgery because it is under wire free. Sizing available includes the following: xs-xl and plus sizes 2x-4x. The bra has removable pads and they should be removed before washing the bra.

  • Milana Bra is by far my favorite of the 3 bras I got to try. I really love the lace panel insert that hides your cleavage. It was nice to have for my office job since a lot of my blouses are v cut. This bra is made of the same fabric all the Genie bras are made from, Everlast fabric and also has removable pads that must come out before washing. In my opinion, the bra is almost identical to the original Genie except with the Milana you get a lace panel and it is better coverage with a wider back area that couture’s more than the Genie original. the Milana bra is sold online only and comes in sets of 2 for $60.00

  • Cami Shaper is a cami with a built in Genie bra. It is super comfortable and smoothes out any imperfection. You can wear Cami Shaper alone or under clothing. I prefer to wear mine under clothing for maximum shaping. Easy to clean and soft fabric makes this my fabric garment in my closet.

Genie bras are awesome because they provide full coverage and can be worn for workouts. As a plus sized women that is top heavy it can be hard to find a sports bra that provide the coverage and support that I need during a workout.

I had this great opportunity to review GenieBra.com, Camishaper.com and SlimAndToneLeggings.com. All 3 products are so beautiful i absolutely love the material and the feel of the fabric so soft and comfy. Genie bra is so cozy i love the pads it adds that extra boost uplift its fits to comfort the genie bra is 96% nylon and 4% spandex which makes it great for everyday comfort and support for daily activities. Genie bra comes in black white and nude from sizes xs to 4x it also has removable pads for extra cleavage support. Cami shaper is extremely comfy its 96% nylon and 4% spandex it stretches to comfort goes great with dresses and tank tops. Cami shaper has removable pads which i love because it makes it so much easier to adjust the pad to the extra level of cleavage uplift i like and the cami shaper is perfect to sleep in it. Machine washable i noticed that the color doesn't wash off nor fades. Cami shaper comes in varieties of colors and sizes from small to 2x.

Slim and tone leggings is awesome even to wear it with dresses, skirts, i even used it just like that with a tank top blouse and it was like if i had on leggings tights i love the slim and tone leggings this one is my favorite it made my legs look so much slimmer and lean the softness of the material is unbelievable love it and it stretches i also done exercise with the slim and tone leggings and the seams never came out this is one great product to have it comes in black, charcoal and rich cocoa from sizes small to 3x. Im very pleased to had reviewed all three products here's the link to order https://www.geniebra.com/, https://www.camishaper.com/ and https://www.slimandtoneleggings.com/ here are other links Facebook, Twitter, YouTube

(Fail.)

Genie Slim and Tone Leggings ($60 for a set of 3, slimandtoneleggings.com)

There's nothing better than a pair of comfortable leggings that let you move freely during a yoga or Pilates session. These have a built-in shaper that targets the midsection, hips and thighs. And the leggings, which also have a natural sheen, would look great on a lazy Saturday with a tunic and flats.

Genie Bra Review
Examiner: April 19, 2013

We have all seen at least one annoying As Seen on TV commercials advertising a remedy for one of our daily struggles. A lot of them don’t pan out to help with the problems of consumers, while others do. The Genie bra is one of those inventions that you question if it will really offer the support and comfort every woman desires. The bra isn't made from the typical cotton most bras on the market contain. It’s made from mostly nylon and a little spandex.

The Genie bra is a different style of bra that’s similar to a sports bra, but it is worn differently than a sports bra. It has a separation between your breasts instead of all in one sports bra. It doesn't have any fabric to separate them, but the separation stitching keeps them both in their place. Your breasts don’t bulge out of these bras.

The bra is seamless so you don’t have to worry about annoying hooks in the back or front that stick you sometimes. You don’t put the bra on over the head or hook in the back or front. You pull the bra up over your feet and pull the straps on, which helps if you’re the type of woman that does your hair and makeup before getting dressed. The bra does sit lower on your back than your typical bra, which is annoying until you get used to it. At first, it feels tight around your rib cage, which will adjust after wearing it for a while. It helps to stretch the band several times the first time day you wear the bra to loosen the band. Wearing it on a day off from work might help you get used to the Genie bra. The bra does offer the support you need at only ten dollar you cannot go wrong.

That said, I am still a bit soft so I agreed to review the Cami Shaper by Genie. It’s soft and comfortable and gives just enough support without being restricting. You can bet I will have it with me at the conference!

I love to shop for cute clothes, but if they don’t fit well I might as well not even bother. I wouldn’t skip a bra with this cami, but otherwise I think it’s pretty great. Shapewear doesn’t have to equal a girdle anymore and I couldn’t be happier.

I hope you will follow along with me as I attend this exceptional conference for a second time. I plan to share fun photos, sound bites from the amazing speaker line ups and maybe even a fashion pic or two. I can’t wait! Follow me on Twitter as well as the hashtag #DisneySMMoms to join in the fun!

Genie Bra Launches Campaign To Fund Breast Reconstructive Surgeries
PR Newswire: April 15, 2013

Genieâ„¢ brand, makers of the number one selling bra in America, the Genie Braâ„¢, is proud to announce a partnership with My Hope Chestâ„¢, the only national charity of its kind focused solely on breast reconstruction for uninsured patients. As a part of the Granting Wishes campaign, Genie will donate 20% of proceeds from sales of a designated pink Genie Bra to My Hope Chest to be used for reconstructive surgeries, ultimately helping women realize a dream and put their cancer journey behind them.

This spurred our interest in helping cancer survivors even more." More than 22,000 uninsured women a year win the battle against breast cancer but lose one or both breasts in the process, and are unable to attain immediate reconstruction based on their economic situation. Many women who seek help from My Hope Chest have been living for years minus one or both breasts, making the partnership all the more vital according to Alisa Savoretti , founder of My Hope Chest.

"Genie Bra and the Granting Wishes campaign will be transformational to our program and mission," said Savoretti. "The partnership will allow My Hope Chest to educate survivors on breast reconstruction options, raise awareness of the problems that the uninsured and under-insured survivor faces, and most importantly provide many more surgeries to survivors on our wait list who have been desperate to attain this healing and final step of breast cancer treatment."

The partnership will begin in April and continue through December 1, 2013. Genieâ„¢ has committed to donating a minimum of $10,000 to My Hope Chest through the sales of the designated pink bra for reconstructive surgeries. Visit www.GenieBra.com and www.MyHopeChest.org for more information on the partnership, ongoing updates on women who have entered the program, and where to purchase.

Mom Deserves New Shapewear for Mothers Day (Giveaway)
Who Said Nothing in Life is Free?: April 15, 2013

They even come with a 60 day money back guarantee

Comfort & Support From Genie Bra (Review)

Comfort & Support From Genie Bra
Babes and Kids Review: February 05, 2013

I’m not sure that I’ve ever talked about bras on this blog, but I’m going there today. I’m going there because I’ve been in search of some new bras. If you saw my announcement today, you’ll know that our family is expecting a new baby at the end of the summer! I’m absolutely thrilled, but in all honesty, there’s a lot that I’ve forgotten about pregnancy. It’s been over 5 years since I’ve been pregnant and one of my first signs that I was pregnant was just how sore my chest got due to extra hormones. I’m normally a pretty small girl, but during pregnancy I tend to grow 2 cup sizes or more. I’ve started to outgrow my bras this last month, and I needed something that was going to be comfortable enough to sleep in but give me the support that I needed during the day. I hadn’t heard of Genie Bra until about a month ago, but I definitely wanted to give them a try.

Genie Bra is a one piece, seamless bra without underwires. I normally wear underwires, but I have days that they rub and they aren’t really comfortable to sleep in. I’ve tried bras before that don’t have underwires and they didn’t seem to have the support or look that I wanted. I’ve been wearing the Genie Bra for close to 3 weeks now, and I wonder why I didn’t discover them a lot sooner. They are definitely comfortable, are machine washable and have removable pads to you can get the padded look if you want. They also come up quite high and can double as an undershirt which I love. In the picture below, it’s actually my white Genie Bra you see and not an undershirt, I absolutely LOVE it.

I like that you can remove the pads for washing and it comes in neutral as well as fun different colors and even lace trim. Genie Bra is made with 96% nylon and 4% spandex. I have noticed that it doesn’t offer the kind of support I want while exercising though. I prefer to have tighter fitted sports bras when running, but I think the Genie Bra would be ok for low impact exercise. Overall, I really love this bra and would definitely recommend it. I’m not sure how well it works on really large busted women, but being at a C cup, it’s definitely wonderful support. The bras come in a 3 pack for $59.97 and if you buy 3 you get 3 free! That’s only $10 a bra which is very affordable. I have spent up to $50 for 1 bra so this is a great deal.

Genie Bra also carries another line, the Slim and Tone Leggings. The legging look is definitely in and the slim and tone legging gives you comfort and stomach control at the same time. They are 90% Nylon and 10% spandex. You can buy them in a 3 pack for $59.97.

Healthier Lifestyle and the Genie Bra Review
: February 05, 2013

There is a downside to this healthier lifestyle journey. It is difficult keeping up with clothes to fit my changing body. I recently found the Genie Bra and it gave my body a new lift in this journey!

The Genie Bra is an As Seen On TV product and can be purchased online. When I took the bra out of the box it looked just like my sports bra. I was disappointed because I didn't need another sports bra. I really needed a form fit that would hold tight to my every changing body and that I could wear outside the gym. My current sports bras don't do that and I don't wear them outside of the gym. On first look, I thought that this bra isn't going to fit like my wire bras but just like my unsupportive sports bra.

I'm here to admit that I judged the Genie Bra before trying it on. That was my first and last mistake with this bra. The Genie Bra gave me the lift and support like my old wire bras without the uncomfortable wire. The bra has a wide band and each cup is separated and fitted to give a lift. Better yet, the bra keeps its shape and has given me the fit and shape I need as my size decreases. This is very important to me and will save me money until I get to my new weight. At first the bra looked like a sports bra but it is no where near a sports bra.

I have a very busy daily routine and it feels great to rely on the Geni Bra to give me the a smooth, creaseless fit when I change out of my gym clothes and into my daily outfits. The bra also comes with pads which provide extra lift and coverage. I am not using them but in the future I might as I lose more weight. I'm totally satisfied and as I said in the beginning, the Genie Bra has given me a new lift in my healthier lifestyle journey!

This is my review of the Geni Bra but I do want you to check it out for yourself at the Genie Bra Website and on their Facebook page. I love the before and after pictures of the women trying on the bra. Yes, I'm a chicken or I would do before and after pictures of myself. For now, you'll have to check their site to actually see the difference. I have found the same result as these women. The Geni Bra is truly like wearing a regular under wire bra but it is so much more comfortable.

Ok this is crazy but I also tried the Slim and Tone Leggings for the same reason. I wanted something to give me a snug fit as my body is changing. These are wonderful for the midsection and legs. Since it is winter and I'm always freezing, I do wear these to bed for extra warmth under my pj's.

We try the Genie Bra
Lille Punkin: February 05, 2013

I am one of those moms who feels like she has always been wearing either a nursing bra or maternity bra for much of the last 10 years. As a result, I get really creeped out by underwire or heavily-padded bras. They don't feel natural, and if I can't work out AND sleep in it (if need be), it's not for me.

I tried the Genie Bra after seeing it on commercials, and wasn't really sure how it would be all that great. It looks like a typical sports bra, so I figured it would act like one, as well.

The Genie Bra is a little difficult to get on the first time. It's tight! You have to order a size a bit larger than you normally would, but the fit is very good. I like that it keeps "bulges" from showing due to "back fat", the shoulder straps are wide, and it comes with removable pads to help provide more coverage (which is essential for moms who have nursed a lot.)

The Genie Bra is very supportive, and yet breathable enough to sleep in if you need to. I pretty much wear one 24/7 now, as it looks good under most shirts and is very versatile. If you need to nurse, you can lift it up, too. One thing I didn't know if I would like is the fact that the straps are not adjustable; after wearing it for awhile, however, I found out I didn't need to adjust it. I'm short, however, so if you are very long in the torso, you may find it to be short. Also, if you have a very short torso, the bra covers high on the chest. It wouldn't be appropriate for lower-cut tops or even some of the more dramatic v-neck tees on the market.

If you're looking for cozy, full-coverage support, this is the bra. I tried it in neutral colors and found it perfect for just about every occasion. You can read more about the Genie Bra at their website and on Facebook, (and you may also want to check out their Slim and Tone leggings!)

“Comfy Genie Bra & Slim Tone Leggings Review”
Feature on Genie Bra & Slim Tone Leggings

Comfy Genie Bra & Slim Tone Leggings Review
Emily Reviews: February 05, 2013
Anytime that a woman brings up her uncomfortable bra, it seems like every female around follows up with a story or complaint of their own. Comfortable, well fitting bras are just difficult to find, no matter what size or shape you are. Despite remaining within about 5lbs of the same weight, and remaining the same height and jean size for the last 10 years, my bra size fluctuates as often as a couple of times per year. It feels like as soon as I find a bra that fits well, my size changes and it no longer fits so I am back to square one. I’ve found that the best way to fight my changing bra size is to buy bras that have general sizing such as small, medium and large instead of a specific band and cup size. Usually this means sports bras, but as someone who isn’t very big chested to begin with, I tend to avoid sports bras because they tend to flatten my chest out in a rather unflattering way.

The Genie bra is a bra that is a great mixture of a regular bra and a sports bra. Like a traditional bra, it separates and supports both sides of your chest independently, so it doesn’t cause a flattening affect. Yet, like a sports bra it doesn’t have the uncomfortable under wire and feels like a more relaxed, natural fit. In fact, I find the genie bra significantly more comfortable than a sports bra. Unlike traditional bras, it won’t cause spillage so your body appears smooth and crease-free even in tighter fitting clothing.

Genie bra’s are sized from xs-4x and you can view their size chart online to convert your regular band/cup size over to your genie bra size. Size medium fit me well, feeling like it really had to stretch to get on without being tight, and as a 34b I have the largest band size to fit in a medium. When my bra size changes, it’s usually by going down one cup size and even if I were to again become a 34b, i’d still be a size medium, so I love how I won’t have to buy new bra’s again if that happens. Overall I’ve been really happy with the genie bra’s. The only downsides I have found are the appearance as they are rather plain, and how high cut they are. The Genie Bra is much higher cut than any other bra I’ve ever owned, showing even in my high cut “wife beater” type undershirts. I’ve tried a few of my tops that are not low cut, but aren’t t-shirts and I haven’t found anything other than t shirts or other crew-cut shirts that cover the genie bra.

I was also sent some Slim and Tone Leggings by Genie that I really really like. I will admit that as a 21 year old, I wasn’t sure I would take to these high waist leggings but I’m sold on them. I have a lot of elastic skin – I can pull a lot of skin even off of strange areas of my body like the backs of my hands, my neck and the top of my feet. This “extra” skin pools around my knees when I stand with my legs straight, which I am self conscious of.

Even in regular opaque leggings, my knees look weird. I was immediately in love with how the slim and tone leggings make my knees appear flat instead of lumpy like they really are. The leggings are designed to help keep your backside from appearing flattened and panty lines from showing, which I haven’t really had a problem with in the past but the high waistline results in my “love handle” area being covered and the firm material that the leggings are made out of slims and flattens my love handles making my clothing appear to fit much better. Despite being smoothing and form-fitting, the leggings don’t feel as tight or as uncomfortable as shapewear. I feel like I could wear them for hours without discomfort and don’t feel like my movements are more difficult.

What I thought: OH my goodness it is nice to have a bra that is comfortable, I can exercise in, AND IS WASHABLE. It is so time consuming to hand wash all my bras and extremely uncomfortable wearing regular bras to work out in or just for my BUSY everyday routine. I like how the Genie Bra gives you options with or without pads. Contoured pads are easy to insert and remove and there are no lines or creases. Genie Bras are comfortable for all day wear (with or without exercise).

Genie Bras are comfortable and soft enough to sleep in. It is almost like you are not wearing a bra, just a comfortable undershirt.

Okay now here is something else that I love, it screams my name all over it. Slim and Tone Leggings by Genie.
When I first heard the name of these, I had to try them. My legs are definitely a spot on my body that I would love to tone up and suck in.

I don’t like when leggings are too tight and bunch up in your growing and when they are so tight they are not comfortable. The Slim and tone Leggings are soft, stretchy, and comfortable for all day wear. I chose size small and they fit true to size for me.

Slim and Tone Leggings are made of 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex. I love the Black, Brown, and Charcoal colors. These colors work with all my outfits. These leggings are PERFECT for wearing with tunics, long sweaters, under skirts, under pants for warmth, and with long shirts. They are thick, durable, and stylish.

WOO I am hooked. I love the Genie Bras and Slim and Tone Leggings. What are you waiting for? Give yourself the gift of comfort and love this Valentine’s Day with Genie Bra and Slim and Tone Leggings.

Truth: I love infomercials.

I can seriously stay up all night watching infomercials and have been known to order my fair share of things off of the good ole TV. One of the things I was always intrigued about was the Genie Bra! It looked amazing and so comfy!

But I never bit the bullet and ordered it mainly because I’m large chested girl. But that didn’t stop me from being intrigued so when I got the chance to try them I of course accepted happily!

As soon as I got them I began wearing them. My first thought?
They are comfy!
But I noticed right away that they weren’t very discreet if you catch my drift. Then I realized that’s what the inserts must be for! When I first opened the box I didn’t realize they were in there!

The use of the pads are optional but were a major plus for me.

They slip in really easily through a hole in the top.

Here’s what the pads help combat for me
1) It provided extra padding so that my nothing was poking through my shirt.
2) It made for less chance of uniboob
3) It help to provide a little more lift than without.

Overall I liked the Genie Bra. I was pleasantly surprised with how much it actually did hold my breasts up. It was very comparable to my bras that have under wires which I never thought was possible. I’ve always assumed that since I have a larger chest that I *needed* underwire but that doesn’t quite seem to be the case. I also liked that you couldn’t see the lines of the bra however you do have to be careful what shirts you were with it in regards to how low cut it is and the straps. This isn’t a bra you can wear with a low v-neck or thin straps.

At this point in my life as I’m preparing to welcome another baby into this world comfort is key. I’m confidant that these bras will be my go to as this pregnancy progresses and after I have the baby and while I’m nursing. I even talked to B about how I think I figured out what I’ll be wearing during delivery!

I’ve had such a good experience with the Genie Bra so far and as I continue to wear that I will let you know how they hold up! So far so good though which makes me really excited to try their Slim and Tone Leggings that I was also sent. They do not quite fit at this point (not that I really expected them too) but I think they’ll be *really* helpful once the baby comes and I’m trying to slim and tone every inch of my body!

Genie Bra & Slim & Tone Leggings Review
Mommy Enterprises: February 05, 2013

When it comes to being a female, there are things that are NOT so fun. Having a monthly period is definitely on my top of things I don’t like.

But wearing uncomfortable bras would probably be #2nd on my list!

I have been wearing bras for over 20 years and have went through my fair share of bras that were a waste of money. I prefer to wear underwire bras for the support, but I really do HATE them. If I buy a cheap underwire bra, my chances that the wire coming out only a week later is pretty darn good. I will usually buy the higher quality and more expensive bras that have good support so I don’t have to get mad when I have to throw the bra away a week later when the wire pops out.

This past couple weeks I have been wearing the Genie Bra that you might have seen advertised on TV before. This is a bra that has NO wires and is definitely more comfortable than the current bras I have. This is a bra that I definitely prefer to wear around the house. This is also a bra that I enjoy exercising in.

This isn’t a bra that I would want to wear on a hot date though. When I put the Genie bra on and showed my husband, he made a comment that it looked liked my boobs looked a little smaller. I just laughed!

I also received 3 pairs of the Slim and Tone Leggings by Genie. These are those stretchy type leggings that have been made to help hold you in!

I received a pair of the brown, gray and brown leggings to try. For me I would only wear these in the house or under other pants to make me look slimmer. They are a little snug when you put them on, but I think that is how they work to make you look skinnier. When I put them on and went into the living room, my son gave me a funny look. I don’t normally wear leggings, so I guess he thought they looked funny on me.
Slim & Tone Leggings combine the style of a traditional legging with the compression and slim-wear control of a body shaper. The fabric is seamless, designed to conceal cellulite, and provides 5 zone comfort of invisible support over problem spots. The waist can be worn high or low and provides extra tummy support.

like both of these Genie products!
For those looking for a comfortable bra, I suggest trying a Genie Bra too! You can find Genie Bra on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/OfficialGenieBra

Get Your Wish for Comfort with Genie Bra
: February 05, 2013

As women, we all want to look good. Unfortunately, for us, looking good is not always synonymous with being comfortable. What if there was a bra with no dreaded under wire, that could be comfortable all day and would still lift and separate the girls like magic? Well, there is. The Genie Bra is super comfortable and works wonders to make you look your best without feeling your worst.

{No More Bulges or Drooping Straps}

I have struggled with finding the right bra my entire life. When I was younger, my mom was constantly having a fit over my bra straps slipping down off my shoulders. It doesn't matter what bra I wear, short of a flattening and unflattering sports bra, there was nothing that would keep the straps up. When I got the Genie Bra for review in beige, white and black, I was really doubtful. They looked an awful lot like a sports bra and I didn't think they would be very flattering. Boy was I wrong!

The Genie Bra really does do everything it claims. It lifts and separates so you can say goodbye to that dreaded uni-boob, without an uncomfortable under wire. The bra fabric is comfortable, not too tight and conforms to your specific size and shape. There are no lines, no drooping bra straps and best of all, no bulges. Another problem I had with traditional bras is that they would cause spillage and bulges out the top. Not with the Genie Bra though, and it can double as a camisole too. You wear it underneath a lower cut top and no one would be able to tell it isn't a camisole or tank peaking out.

Also, they claim it is comfortable enough to sleep in, and they aren't wrong. It is a dream I tell you. I personally like to use the included pads that can slip right into the bra itself, because we all know what can happen in chilly weather, but the pads are easy to remove or leave out all together if you like. Breastfeeding, that's not a problem either, the fabric has a enough give to lift up or pull down easily. The Genie Bra can double as a sports bra as well, since it doesn't ride up and provides plenty of support. Since I have gotten them, I have not worn a single one of my old bras, and I don't plan on going back.

{Slim Tone Leggings for Less Lumps and Bumps}

Genie has also come out with Slim Tone Leggings. These are another miracle product. They are not difficult to get on like support top tights or pantyhose, but they do smooth out all the lumps and bumps you may have when wearing normal leggings. They also erase lines and just give you a sleek look. They aren't going to help you drop those 20 pounds, but they will help you look your best while you do. The tops don't roll down like some slimming brands I have tried in the past and they are extremely comfortable and durable. Since they are a bit thicker than some leggings, they are perfect for the weather right now and well into Spring.

{Buy It}

The Genie Bra is available on their site in three packs of various colors. There are packs of neutrals, pastels, brights and the classic set that I had the chance to review. There is even a lace trim version and the price works out to less than $20 per bra! To keep up with current news and promotions, be sure to follow the Genie Bra Facebook page.

Genie Bra Review
Seventeen Sirens: February 05, 2013

Running errands all day, going to school, and chasing after my toddler, leaves me constantly readjusting my clothes throughout the day, especially my bra. I haven’t come across a bra that was comfortable and supportive, until I came across the Genie Bra.

Genie Bra’s one-style fits all allows moms to feel comfortable and look sleek, while going about their daily routine as usual. The bra’s comfort-stretch fabric provides support and shape without the pinching and bulging of clasps or underwires. I’ve never been a fan of underwire bras because they are so uncomfortable, but bras without he underwire give me no support at all, so I almost always have to sacrifice comfort for support.

I received three Genie Bras to try out for my review which came in nude, white, and black. As soon as I put it on, I could feel a big difference compared to my old underwire bras. The fit was great, and the bra was very comfortable to wear throughout my day. Each bra comes with extra padding for more support, but I actually liked wearing the bra as it was- without any padding. I still felt the same support as I would have wearing the extra padding, so I just choose to wear them without.

My favorite thing about wearing this bra is that it’s great for when you’re exercising. I started a new exercise program that involves a lot of dancing. The Genie Bra gives me a lot of support so I can jump, twist, shake, and do all of the dance requirements for the DVD, without feeling like my bra is about to give out. It’s awesome! One downside I have to say about the Genie Bra is that the rise is too high for my liking. I wouldn’t be able to wear any sort of V-neck dress or top while wearing this bra because of how high it goes. Perfect to wear under sweaters and hoodies though, so during this Winter weather, I won’t complain too much.

Another thing I like about the Genie Bra is that it’s tight in all the right places, and doesn’t leave any lines or creases on my skin. The fabric easily conforms to my cup size and the wide band design lifts and separates without an uncomfortable under-wire. The padding the bras come with are easily inserted through an opening in the back of each cup. Just remember to take them out before washing your bras.

I also received 3 Slim & Tone leggings, which I am in love with right now. Leggings are great to wear during the winter and when the weather gets cold, I like to wear them under my jeans to stay warm. The Slim & Tone leggings are made of 90% nylon and 10% spandex. They are so comfortable to wear and they make you look slimmer by smoothing out the bulges around your thighs and hips. You can exercise in these leggings, but I wouldn’t recommend wearing them all day. While they are comfortable, these leggings are really tight, so I can’t wear them all day without feeling like I’m being squeezed.

Still Blonde after all these Years: 2/5/2013
"Genie Bra Full Figure Women – Does it Work?"
Feature on Genie Bra & Slim & Tone Leggings

Genie Bra Full Figure Women — Does it Work?
Still Blonde after all these Years: February 05, 2013

The Chief Blonde Remarks: The Hunt for the PerfectBra…does it ever stop? I am into my 50s and I am still seeking it. Every woman needs a great bra to wear with t-shirts, one to wear during sport occasions, one to wear while around the house, one to wear with strapless dresses or spaghetti straps, etc. Does this bra exist all in one single bra? I would argue NO!

Bra issues for a Full Figured Woman

There are many bras issues, especially for full figured woman. Here’s some of issues that full figured women struggle with:

• Not being able to find their bra size in a store
• Bulging out over the top and sides of a bra
• Finding a bra that supports your massive rack
• Straps digging into your shoulders from the weight of your breasts
• Having to wear a bra extender because you bra doesn’t fit after several washings
• Bra is too low and breasts fall out and peek out over top of clothing
• Bra is too high and bra peeks out over top of clothing
• Bra underwire is ANNOYING beyond belief
• Bras without underwire leave you sagging and exhausted by the end of day
• Need to wear a bra to bed but all are too restricting

We all have our bra issues, but being a well endowed woman, I can assure you the bra search and wearing elements only get tougher as you age. Your once perky and full breasts become exceedingly difficult to manage and menopause just exacerbates the WHOLE process because your breasts just get heavier (and bigger, and droopy, and…well you get it). So how does the Genie Bra..that bra that you have seen on TV..a million times..work for a full figures and/or menopausal woman? Here the many advantages of the Genie Bra full figure that I saw:

• Great around the house bra
• Straps are very comfortable and don’t dig
• Band expands throughout the day as you often do, with no rolling
• No wires or hooks to dig into your body
• No bulges under clothes, and no lines on my body
• Optional slip-in pads to add coverage and provide support
• Comfortable enough to wear to bed

As far as support, this isn’t a bra I would wear for sports as a full figured woman, it’s supportive but not that intense. It looks very nice under a t-shirt. By the end of the day, I did experience fatigue in the Genie bra (as I do in many others) but only when out and about. In the house, this bra was perfect. It’s also quite comfortable to wear to bed, which is an aspect I loved the most and have never experienced before! So I was thrilled.

Psst! Genie Bra has Leggings too!

I also got to try Slim and Tone Leggings. These are high waisted leggings that just suck it all in and take away that muffin top. So many of my leggings roll at the waist and make me look bulgy..Don’t yours? Wouldn’t you love your leggings to make you look “Hot” but act like shapewear.
That’s exactly what Slim and Tone Leggings do!

Watch this Video of Slim and Tone Leggings to get an idea of how great they can work for you!

“Ditch the Painful Underwire For Good With Genie Bra!”
Feature on Genie Bra

Ditch the Painful Underwire For Good With Genie Bra!
: February 04, 2013

Since I work from home, I fully admit, I would rather sit around braless that walk around wearing an uncomfortable, underwire bra. For one, while they definitely make my "gals" look nice, by the end of the day, the thin straps have dug into my shoulders and created ugly red marks. Another thing I hate is when that underwire slides around and pokes at my skin. It's painful, so I skip those bras altogether unless I am going out or having company over.

I have heard that going without a bra is bad in the long run for gravity reasons, so I would usually just wear a sports bra or one of my old, comfy nursing bras when sitting around at home. While I suppose this was better than nothing, they still weren't very comfortable, and were ill-fitting.

Then I discovered the Genie Bra. I know what you're thinking...It's that "As seen on TV" bra, right? Yep! My first experience with the Genie Bra was when I got one at Walmart a few months ago. I just had to try it, since it has no hooks, underwire, or closures to have to fiddle around with. The Genie Bra is made from a soft, stretchy material that actually conforms to your shape, and sizing is based off of your shirt size. Couldn't be easier!

Recently, the awesome folks at Genie Bra sent me a 3 pack of their neutral colored bras, as well as their new Slim and Tone Leggings for review. I was thrilled to add to my Genie Bra collection, and even threw away a few of my "normal" bras to make room in my drawer for them.

Here are some photos of the Genie Bra in nude and white. Notice the black is nowhere to be found. Well, there's good reason for that! I was wearing it!

As you can see, the Genie Bra looks like a sports bra, only nicer. (And about a zillion times more comfortable!) There are some major differences between the Genie Bra and sports bras, though. Have you ever noticed that sports bras tend to squish and flatten the "girls"? Well, the Genie Bra actually lifts and separates, just like a traditional underwire bra, but without spillage, bulging, or the need to constantly readjust. (Have you ever been out and had to tug and pull at your bra straps? Embarrassing!) The Genie Bra stays in place wonderfully, making it quite possibly the most comfortable bra ever.

While I am not currently nursing, I have heard that the Genie Bra is amazing for new mothers. No, there aren't any flaps to open, but the Genie Bra is easy to lift up to feed a baby. While not nursing, this bra will give a nursing mother the ultimate in comfort and support.

There are also modesty cups that can be inserted into the bra, which will prevent looking to cold, if you get my drift. These cups also add volume and lift, just like a push up bra would.

So I am very shy about taking photos of myself, especially my chest, so I will post this before and after photo from the Genie Bra website to show just how big of a difference the Genie Bra can make in your appearance. Notice the before shot? There is spillage, bulging, and it's just not flattering. The after picture is so much nicer looking in my opinion. Her gals are lifted, smooth, and there are no uncomfortable bulges.

Overall, I really love the Genie Bra. It's like a second skin in a way, and you can barely tell it's there. In fact, it's comfortable enough to sleep in! Can you say that about your current bra? The straps are soft and wide enough that they don't slide down the shoulders, and they leave no red marks whatsoever. The bra truly does lift and separate, leaving a nice, feminine silhouette. You can feel confident wearing the Genie Bra with all of your clothing and be assured you will always look fabulous. In fact, the Genie Bra doesn't even "show" under your clothing, so there are no annoying bra-lines.

The one thing I would like to point out is that the Genie Bra is a full-coverage bra, and is cut rather high. This can give the illusion of a cute cami under a deep v-neck top. But for those who are looking to show off some serious cleavage, well...The Genie Bra might not be the best choice for those sexier, more revealing outfits. But for everyday use, this is definitely my bra of choice. No hooks, wires, or need for adjustments? Seriously the best bra ever!

I also got to try out the brand new Genie Bra Slim and Tone Leggings. These leggings conform to your body and act as some super-powerful shapewear. However, the look like "normal" leggings and can be worn on their own for a trim, cute look.

These leggings appear seamless, and eliminate bumps, bulges, cellulite, and seem to lift and shape your booty while sucking in any "wobbly bits" you might have. (I have had 3 kids, all via c-section, so I have the dreaded belly pooch!)

I actually wore these leggings out the other night. My Dad is in a band, so my husband and I headed out in the snow to see them play. We met a friend of mine there, as well as my awesome Step-Mom, Missy, and everyone commented on how cute my outfit looked. I paired the leggings with high-heeled boots and a cute, rock-and-roll style 3/4 length top. The look was great, and these leggings really did make me appear slimmer. They were also very comfortable, and I didn't need to tug at them constantly like I do with traditional shapewear. There were no panty-lines peeking through, and the fabric didn't slip or bunch at all.

Again, I really don't want to plaster photos of my butt all over the internet, so here is a stock photo showing before and after. It is very accurate, and shows how dramatic the difference is:

The only thing you'll want to keep in mind is that you really should wash the Slim and Tone Leggings before you wear them. They are very, very tight if you don't prep them first. Once they've been washed, they are much more comfortable and conform to your shape perfectly, while allowing you to breathe.

Like the Genie Bra, the Slim and Tone Leggings are very versatile, and can be worn with so many different kinds of outfits. Pair them with a cute top or even with a dress, and you've got a winning look. You'll even appear sizes smaller, and no one will even be able to tell you're wearing shapewear. How cool is that?!

Overall, I am very happy with both the Genie Bra and the Slim and Tone Leggings. They're ridiculously comfy, easy to care for, and really do work to make a woman's body look it's best...Even if she's had back to back children and isn't in the best shape. I would definitely recommend these products to anyone who wants to look their best without any painful straps to tug at or discomfort. Give it a try! Once you try the Genie Bra, you just might throw out all of your underwire bras, too!

“No More Torture, Just Comfort and Support With the Genie Bra”

No More Torture, Just Comfort and Support With the Genie Bra
: February 04, 2013

If I had my way, I’d go without a bra. They just aren’t comfortable, and unless I wear a sports bra I don’t quite get the support I always need, especially when chasing around my kids all day. Sports bras are great when I’m working out, but I don’t want to wear them every day just to have the support I *might* need at some point during the day. Unfortunately, going without a bra is not an option, so I deal with it, and sometimes it’s torturous! Recently, however, wearing a bra hasn’t been as miserable. Why?

I know I’m like most women when I say I am not “symmetrical”. Oftentimes it’s hard to find a bra that fits well on both sides, and while I know there are places you can customize sizes to fit you perfectly, those aren’t always affordable. This bra is made with unique fabric that conforms to any cup size and never loses it’s shape. It comes with removable pads for extra lift (thankyouverymuch), and is sold in sizes from XS to 4X, making it a perfect fit for any woman! It also comes in 12 different colors (sold in sets of 3).

I love that- when I play a game of tag with my kids or hustle down the driveway to catch the soccer ball before it goes into the street- I don’t have to hold my chest for fear of too much bounce. It’s nice to be able to play with my kids without feeling self conscious or uncomfortable about the support I have (or lack thereof).

The only problem I have with it is that, unlike on the model on the website, I’ve found the bra to be a bit high. I am a very modest dresser, with no super low-cut tops and most are not even close to low-cut, yet I can’t wear some of my tops with this bra because it shows. A minor problem for me, but it could be an issue if you tend to wear lower cut tops regularly. The site says it can be worn as a camisole, but for me- knowing it’s a bra- I have a hard time wearing it like that… :)

One more thing… As comfortable as this is, I wish I’d have had it when I was nursing my kids, especially after they were first born. Sleeping without a bra was not an option for quite a few months, and having one as comfortable as this would have been heavenly!

Slim & Tone LegginsI was also able to try the Slim & Tone Leggings from Genie. These leggings have 5 areas of compression, holding in all the bumps and lumps and hiding the cellulite. The leggings target main problem areas- tummy, hips, inner thighs, outer thighs and buttocks- making you look good in anything you wear! See the picture to the right? They go very high in the waist if you want or need the additional coverage there, but if not you can roll them down for double control in your lower waist!! The leggings are sold in black, charcoal, and rich cocoa. I wanted to share a photo of myself wearing them, but I have no long tops to wear them with yet. Believe me though, I’m on a mission to find a few because these leggings not only make me feel thinner, but they’re so comfortable!!

Be sure to like Genie on Facebook to stay up to day with the latest, including new products and giveaways!

“The Genie Bra Answers A Few Of My Wishes!”
Feature on Genie Bra

The Genie Bras Answers a Few of My Wishes!
: February 04, 2013

I have purchased my bras from the same, very well known, high end lingerie store for years now. While there are helpful employees available to assist you in finding the undergarments that are best suited for your individual needs, there are always small issues I encounter with my bras once I’m home and have worn them awhile. These days unsightly bra lines and spillage are big problems for me, which is surprising since I am always re-measured at the store before purchasing a new bra to ensure my size hasn’t changed. I don’t mind spending the $50 per bra that this store charges, however, I don’t think I shouldn’t encounter any problems with a price tag of that size.

The Genie Bra is a soft yet supportive bra that contours to your shape and even doubles as a camisole. Made from unique Everlast comfort stretch fabric that conforms to any cup size without losing its shape, and complete with a knitted wide support band that lifts and separates while eliminating the need for underwires, the Genie Bra is easy to slip into, provides maximum coverage, is machine washable and claims to be so comfortable that you can sleep in it.

After seeing the Genie Bra television commercial, I thought that this may not only be a solution for my bra issues, but since these bras are supportive, I figured they may also be great for my every day routine. I’m a gym rat and I usually stop in for a workout four to five days per week. This means I wake up and get into my exercise gear each morning, only to later return from the gym, shower and change into usual clothing (including undergarments) to finish the day. While I don’t mind doing this, there are plenty of days where I’m in a rush and having a bra that I could comfortably and confidently wear both while at the gym, and afterward, would be a huge time saver. Besides, I obviously can not run in a regular bra and my sports bras tend to squish my chest down almost making me appear totally flat. I need a bra that provides balance and I was hoping the Genie Bra could make that wish come true.

4 Ways to Look Better in Your Clothes
: February 04, 2013

I received the Genie Bra and Slim & Tone Leggings to review. The Genie Bra is an excellent bra that works well with wrap dresses, fitted sweaters and tees! I hate when I can see my bra lines through my tops and the Genie solves that fashion issue for me! I look and feel better in my clothes when I wear it! You do need to be careful what you wear it with as the straps are thick and may show unless you are wearing a top with enough coverage. However, the Genie comes in some fun bright or pastel colors that you may just want to show as a layering piece!

The Slim & Tone Leggings help pull in all the over-hang. I’m not a fan of the muffin-top that I am accumulating and these leggings are great for helping hide that mess! As a reminder, leggings are not pants. They are intended as a layering piece and should be worn with a tunic or under a dress in the cold weather. Not covering your bottom while wearing leggings is not flattering on anyone.

Shopping smart will save you time and frustration when you are trying to get ready quickly in the morning. Key pieces that help you feel better about your body will always be your go-to pieces!

Genie Bra's One-style Fits All Bra and Genie's Slim and Tone leggings

Between daily errands, tasks, and running around with the kids...I find myself pulling and readjusting my clothes to stay comfortable most of the time. By the end of the day I can't wait to kick off my shoes and put on my comfortable clothes. I wish I could wear these kind of clothes all day long...but I often sacrifice comfort to look presentable and feel supported. I'm always looking for a solution to this problem...and was happy to learn more about Genie Bra's one-style fits all bra and Genie's Slim and Tone leggings.

I was sent a set of Genie Bras and a set of Genie's Slim and Tone leggings to review as part of a Mom Central Campaign.

When the products arrived, I couldn't wait to try them on! In the past few months I have lost quite a bit of weight and have been needing a new bra that's not only comfortable, but also offers the support I need. I am not a huge fan of sports bras, mainly because I don't think they are very flattering. I do still like to look presentable when running my errands and going about my daily routine, which is why I was excited to learn that these bras are specifically designed to allow moms to feel comfy and look sleek with their seamless look.

In trying it on I was impressed with how comfortable the comfort stretch fabric really is! Unlike my underwires, there is no pinching or bulging...I love it! It also provides support and shape (unlike the sports bras I've tried in the past). The wide band design lifts and separates without an uncomfortable under-wire, and this support has really worked well for me. I will no longer be wearing sports bras (which I don't care for anyways) now that I have these! They are comfy, supportive, give me shape, and make me feel confident in my everyday clothes.

When I first received these bras I was still nursing Caysen and found they were great for that too! Whether you're a mommy to be, a nursing mom, or just a busy mom like all of us...the design of these bras is unique and comfortable! Great for moms on the go.

I also like that the fabric is made to keep it's shape wash after wash. It is machine-washable and dryer safe. Mine have come out great every time!

I've been really happy with the Genie Bras I received. They are comfortable and look smooth under my clothing. I mainly wear them around the house and out and about when I'm running errands. They're perfect for daily tasks like this. I feel like the needs of a busy mom was definitely taken into consideration when making these great bras. They make me feel good wearing them and are something I can wear all day long.

I received my Genie Bras in neutrals, but they also come in pastels as well. They are sold in packs of three.

I also received three Slim & Tone Leggings from Genie Bra as well! I don't know about you, but I LOVE leggings, especially this time of year. I own quite a few, but these are definitely the most slimming ones by far! I was thrilled that they are pretty comfortable, and also provide 360 degrees of slimming technology. It really has helped to eliminate any bulge and gives a nice, smooth look to my legs. I'm really happy with them and know I'll be wearing them a lot in the coming months ahead!

If you're looking for a more comfortable bra, I would definitely recommend check out Genie Bra. Also, be sure to head over to www.slimandtoneleggings.com and learn more about their comfy and slimming Slim & Tone Leggings as well!

I Only Went Through 7423516 Bras to Find One I Liked!
: February 03, 2013

Am I the only woman that has SUCH a hard time finding a bra I like?
Just when I think I find a bra that feels great, after a few wearings, I find an itchy spot, or it stretches out. Or shows through all my favorite tops. Or I get pregnant or start breastfeeding and it doesn’t fit.
So I couldn’t wait to try Genie Bra, which I’d seen advertised as conforming to any cup size and never losing shape. Plus they have no underwire, which is preferable for breastfeeding to avoid clogged ducts.

I’ve spent a few weeks wearing the bras and there’s a lot to like about the Genie Bra.
First, the best part is how it’s a bra that slips on so easy - no clasps or straps to adjust or fiddle with. And it will not show lines or bumps under any outfit. Definitely the smoothest fit! You can add little pads into pockets in the bra to get a smooth fit.

The bras fit me well. However, I think they must run small, because my typical bra size falls into their Medium on the size chart. Yet I was sent size Large, and they were NOT loose at all on me! I was glad I got the Larges, actually!

Comfort-wise, there is nothing to stick, itch, or bunch. These are truly bras that move with you. I found them supportive, without giving you a “sports bra”-type look.;)

As a nursing mom, I tried the Genie Bra for breastfeeding. You can definitely BF in this bra, however, I personally did not prefer it because I had to lift the bra UP, and I prefer to pull the bra down when nursing. However, these are great bras for the fact that nursing moms often fluctuate in size, and this bra will accommodate!

Style-wise, Genie Bra comes in a wide range of colors, which is great, because they do come up higher than your average bra, so you’ll likely end up using these bras as a sort of cropped tank top under v-neck or lower necklines.

Genie Bra also makes Slim and Tone Leggings, which I loved wearing! With five zones of compression to shape legs, my favorite aspect was how there’s no wrinkling or bunching! You feel supported and toned and the leggings fit smoothly under other clothing without bulk.

You can check out Genie Bra on Facebook for more information on a great fitting bra (and awesome leggings!).

Does the Genie Bra Work As Seen On TV?
The Mommyhood Chronicles: February 03, 2013

Does anyone else think if bras were employees they would get fired? Unfortunately they’re that “essential” employ that you can’t live with and can’t live without. I hate their underwires, constrictive bands, impossible hooks and biting straps. There are days I wish we could just run around without them but I believe it’s frowned upon. Not to mention what would happen once gravity got a hold of them. Kids have already done their damage I don’t need that issue too. I’m not saying bra’s don’t do their job (even though some don’t) I just wish they did it more comfortably. Then there came the Genie Bra, and like it’s name sake it started granting wishes. Underwires? Poof, gone. Wires and Hooks, vanished. Even those god forsaken shoulder straps. See what I mean? A real Genie!

Thanks to the awesome Everlast Comfort Stretch Fabric it not only conforms shape and any cup size, it does so without losing it shapes. Yes, even sans underwire! It’s like magic, I know. I mean it’s even machine washable…if only it could wash itself, they would be on to something. The Genie Bra is easy to slip on over your head and isn’t constrictive like sports bras. It even offers a secret magic pouch for removable pads that offer extra lift and support. With it’s full coverage design it can even double as a faux layer under V-neck shirts. Yay, for less layers! Genie even offers 4 sets of 3 color options so you can find it nearly any color for layering. Genie Bras are only $60 for a pack of three ($20ea). Plus, right now if you order 1 set you get a 2nd set free!

But does the Genie Bra really work as seen on TV?!

I walk a lot in the mornings, and I hate wearing sports bras. I am a B- cup (an A in denial) and I don’t want to feel more squished than I already am. I also do not want to wear a padded bra or one with the underwires and get all sweaty. You know my neighbors are watching me. So I need to look at least half way decent. The genie bra is perfect! It hides all my back fat and doesn’t dig in my shoulders. However, you do need to make sure that you get the right size. I am a 36B which would be a large even though I wear a medium size shirt. Since the cup size conforms to you natural and enhances what you have with soft liners, you really need to go by the suggested sizing guide to get the correct fit. That means reading instructions before you buy which is something I normally don’t do.

Another one of my favorite ways to wear a genie bra is with those pesky off the shoulder shirts that show your bra straps. Once I discovered the Genie bra, now I can wear a bra and let it all “hang out” with no one the wiser. You can see what I mean by the picture at the top of the article. Doesn’t it look like it was supposed to show? Love it!

Genie offers more than just amazing bras. They also offer Slim and Tone Leggings with 5 areas of comfortable compression. This is so great for pulling of the layered tunic look that in right now, without worrying about all of my bumps and lumps showing. They also come in packs of 3! You can connect further with the Genie Bra brand on Facebook.

I am Riding with Comfort with My New Genie Bra!
The Mommyhood Chronicles: February 03, 2013

Let me preface this post by saying I absolutely hate going bra shopping and never fully find a bra that fits me properly. Most of the times when I do go bra shopping, they fit me in an under-wire bra which seems comfortable in the store, but then I bring it home only to be in some serious pain after wearing the bra for a few weeks. I end up getting poked and prodded by the under-wire, but at that point, it is too late to return the bra. That is why I was excited to receive a set of Genie Bras to try on and see how I like them. I had little expectations because as noted above, I have complaints with mostly every bra, but I can honestly say the Genie Bras I received were simply amazing!

Genie Bra is the bra all women wish for in terms of comfort, style, and fashion. When I first received the Genie Bra, I noticed that it came with the bra and pads, if you want extra lift and coverage. I took my Genie Bra out and I decided to put the pads in, because I like the extra lift. It was so simple to insert the cup into the slit on the side of the cup section of the Genie Bra. I then flatten the cup out to provide me comfort, and went on to wear the bra to see how I liked it for the day.

The Genie Bra truly provides the ultimate in comfort and support. There is absolutely no under-wire and is seamless. If you have never tried an under-wire bra, most times they feel flimsy once you have them on. I am a 34C and need a good amount of support in my bra. However with the Genie Bra, I was able to experience no under-wires, yet have full support- how amazing is that!

It allows for form fitting seamless construction and has no wires or hooks. It also had a wide comfort lift band which means no more rolling. It contoured completely to fit my breast area and was SO COMFORTABLE. It seemed like a sports bra fit but with the ultimate in protection and support. I can see myself working out this bra and even sleeping in it. That is how AMAZING it is!

The Genie Bra is made to accommodate many sizes from small to 2X. On the size chart, I was a medium, but I was sent a large and it fit perfectly. I am not sure if I would size up if I was ordering since I don’t have the medium to compare it to, but the large did indeed fit me perfectly. There was no slouching of the bra or annoying straps coming down. It is also has a high back, so you don’t have to worry about your bra showing. Since it is high though, it is not meant to be that sexy bra. However, I am 34 and a mom of two kids- I am not all about showing off my top area (if you know what I mean).

I was thinking that this bra would also be a wonderful bra to breastfeed in. It is fully stretchable, so you could just roll up your bra, feed the baby, and roll back the bra. It would make breastfeeding much easier than a traditional hook bra where you have to take it off to feed the baby. I know I am keeping these bras for many years to come and highly suggest them for comfort! I might also mention that they are machine washable and will never loose shape. The unique fabric comforts to any cup size and never looses its shape! They will not shrink when you wash them, and will stay exactly like the time you originally took the Genie Bra out of the box.

As a dentist, mom, and a blogger, I need a good bra to last me through my long days. I don’t have time to deal with an annoying bra and be uncomfortable. That is why the Genie Bra is perfect for me! I feel so supported and don’t have to deal with the annoying lines and creases that other bras do! The wide band design lifts and separates without dealing with extra hardware on other bras. Be sure to check out Genie Bra today and learn more on their Facebook page too!

I also received a few pairs of the Slim and Tone Leggings. I am a huge legging person and love to wear them with big sweaters. The Slim and Tone Leggings are tight fitting leggings that are made to show off your figure! I know that my legs have some chunk to them but with the Slim and Tone Leggings, my legs look fantastic- they look like I have worked them out everyday! I take a size small in them but they do run to 3X, so they encompass any size. They provide comfortable compression and 360 degrees of slimming technology! It helps eliminate the extra bulge from the love handles and provides me with a nice, clean, and smooth look. If I have to toot my own horn (which I rarely do), I would say these leggings make my legs look phenomenal. Be sure to check out the Slim and Tone Leggings today!

“I’ve Found the Most Comfortable Bra”

I've Found the Most Comfortable Bra
Akron Ohio Moms: February 02, 2013

Do you own and wear the most comfortable bra? We all struggle with bras – they dig into our skin, need constant re-adjusting, leave ridges, cause bulges, and leave painful marks on our skin. Finding a bra that is comfortable and supportable can seem impossible. I was given the chance to review the Genie Bra. You may have seen their commercials on TV, claiming to be “what all women wish for“. I have put it to the test over the last couple weeks and have concluded it that the Genie Bra is the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn!

When I first opened the Genie Bra, I thought it looked much like a sports bra, only a little nicer. I’ve worn sports bras before and they are great at support but leave you flattened. Sports bras are generally not flattering, even if they are comfortable. I also noticed that the Genie Bra felt soft and the fabric was stretchy. The comfort-stretch fabric is what provides the support and shape we all wish for. The wide band design lifts and separates and doesn’t roll like sports bras can. I was very impressed by the comfort of the Genie Bra right away.

I normally wear under-wire bras that offer support and a little lift. Normally, I can’t wait to take it off at night because of the digging under-wires and discomfort. If I have worn it too long that day, I’m left sore and hurting. I wear the Genie Bra all day and all night and it feels great all day. I have no digging under-wires to worry about, no annoying straps falling off my shoulders, no metal clasps to fuss with, and no re-adjusting throughout the day. It is easily the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn.

Just because it is the most comfortable bra doesn’t mean it is a good bra – but the Genie Bra is supportive and lifting as well. When I wore under-wire bras, I was left in pain and sometimes had bulging or spillage. The Genie Bra lifts and supports while looking smooth under clothing. Even with a form fitting shirt or sweater, you can’t see any lines, bumps, ridges, or lumps! Each bra comes with extra pads that you can easily slip in for extra lift and coverage. You can’t even tell they are there.

I always post real-life pictures for product reviews. I wanted to show you how the Genie Bra doesn’t show through shirts with ridges and how smooth it looks under my shirt. However, my conservative nature and modesty has left me to resorting to a photo from the Genie Bra website of a model. It shows exactly what I have experienced without the embarrassment of using my own photos.

You can tell how much more attractive the bra makes the model look. It is great coverage with a smooth appearance.

I use to decide what bra I would wear based on the clothing I chose. Now, the Genie Bra is my go-to bra every time. I have one in white, tan, and black, so I have one for every outfit. The Genie Bra lifts and supports while giving me the comfort I’ve always wished for every single day. I don’t have to worry about lines, creases, support, or any other bra-related concerns. I know that I will look good and feel good no matter what as long as I wear my Genie Bra.

I wouldn’t tell you this if I didn’t believe it 100% – the Genie Bra is the most comfortable bra that you can count on every day – no matter what you wear, you’ll look good.

Do you wear leggings?

I was also able to review the Slim and Tone Leggings. These leggings offer 360 degrees of shaping in an amazingly comfortable pair of leggings. They make you look 2 sizes smaller by toning your waste while lifting your bottom, and smoothing out your legs.

They have a higher waist to prevent muffin tops that other leggings do. The Slim and Tone leggins hides panty lines, cellulite, and unsightly bulges. You can wear them at the gym, or under a sweater, or skirt. I have never worn leggings before, especially not toning leggings. I really like the look and feel of the Slime and Tone Leggings.

Kick Those Underwire Bras to the Curb with the Genie Bra
Mass Hole Mommy: February 02, 2013

Since I’ve dropped a ton of weight (and a few cup sizes), wearing a bra, especially an underwire one, isn’t as painful as it used to be. But let’s face it – underwires aren’t really meant to be uncomfortable – they’re meant for support. And, like most of us, I’ve tried non-underwire bras, too, but I’ve found that they just don’t give ”the ladies” the lift that I’d like to see. But now that I workout a lot more, I find myself wearing sports bras more often than not. They are WAY more comfortable, and plus if I decide to hit a Zumba class – I’m already ready to go.

The thing about sports bras is that sometimes the straps tend to dig in to my shoulders and upper back. I suppose it depends on the brand, but it’s something I can’t tell is going to happen when I’m picking out ones to buy while I’m in the store. Then I heard about the Genie Bra, and I was definitely intrigued. The straps are much wider and based on the picture, they just looked like they’d be really comfortable.

I received three Genie Bras – in neutral colors – to try out for myself. To say they were comfortable is an understatement. Unfortunatly, the ones that I received were a bit large on me, so I couldn’t try them out during a workout because the ladies would never have stayed in place like I need them to when I’m jumping around during a Zumba class, but I did wear the Genie Bra around the house. A lot. And honestly, I think it would be fair to say that it didn’t even feel like I had a bra on at all.

I also liked the sleek look the bras provided under my clothing, however the Genie Bra does not leave any room for cleavage if that’s the look you’re going for. It comes up high on the chest, so it’s great for everyday wear, but probably not meant to be worn under that little black dress for a night out on the town.

The Genie Bra comes in a whole variety of colors from pastels to neutrals and they are sold in packs of three. The unique fabric of the Genie Bra conforms to any cup size and never looses its shape. Oh, and they are washer & dryer safe, too, so you can throw them in with your regular laundry.

The Genie Bra also makes these amazing Slim & Tone Leggings. I received three pairs of them and loved how I felt instantly slimmer – yet they were still quite comfortable. I’ll be wearing them a lot in the future!

If you’re looking for something a little more comfortable, the Genie Bra is definitley something you’ll want to check out.

Be sure to like Genie Bra on Facebook, too, in order to keep up with their latest news and updates!

“Putting the Girls Back Where They Belong”
Feature on Genie Bra

Putting the Girls Back Where They Belong
: January 30, 2013

So…we’ve discussed the failed jeans shopping with the weight loss. But, we haven’t talked about the “girls.” Yes, those.

I’ve breastfed three kiddos. Gone through the pregnanies and the weight gain and now the deflation (and they are still in working order). Bra shopping is right up there with jeans shopping for me.

Because I’m still breastfeeding, I’ve been wearing a nursing bra. The same couple that I got with the first kiddo. I guess you could say they are a little stretched out and probably not so supportive. So, I was pretty happy to try out the Genie Bra. It doesn’t have an underwire, thankfully because underwires aren’t really comfortable lately (and seem to cause me mastitis). Already winning points without even putting it on.

And, then I put it on. It was a little snug going over my head (no clasps or hooks to irritate, but means it goes on more like a sports bra), but fit very comfortably once in place. Most importantly, the girls were up and located where they were supposed to be. The fabric is crazy, too. I’m told it conforms to any cup size (obviously, I only have one at the time)! So, in theory, it would have fit when they were much bigger…like “preggo” girls or “my milk just came in” girls. Plus, it never looses its shape, so unlike my nursing bra, it won’t stretch out after wearing it one time. And yet, it has a wide band design that lifts and separates so there’s no uniboob.

It can also doubles as a camisole. I see this as a plus, but I noticed on a couple shirts that came up higher, the straps stuck out. Maybe it was just that particular neckline? Because the front center didn’t show.

While it doesn’t have a flap to flip down for nursing, I’ve found it’s very easy to either raise up or lower down depending on my preference and the top I’m wearing. I went back and forth on which was better, but they both worked. And, it was nice that I didn’t feel like I was saggy.

They also make Slim and Tone Leggings that are the same material that helps to pull everything in, but not give you a uni-butt! They keep things tight and in place and help your legs and butt not look lumpy (if you have lumps…I have lumps!)

It’s definitely a comfortable bra and an added bonus that it acts as a camisole without having to wear a ton of layers (which I feel makes my tummy look thicker).

Comfort, Style and Seamless Support are Possible! Hello Genie Bra!
: January 29, 2013

Are you one of those ladies that arrive home at the end of the day and the minute you hit the front door your bra comes off? Tell the truth? I have a friend that jokes that her bra straps are half way down and the snaps are unbuckled before the door is even unlocked! I understand why. I’m always searching for the perfect bra; one that offers great support, looks pretty, washes like a dream and is so comfortable I’ll forget I’m wearing it. I thought a bra like that didn’t exist until I received the Genie Bra for Christmas. I looked at the package and thought, “I won’t be able to wear this soft, cute, hardware-free bra under my tight shirts and sweaters.” I was wrong! I love the Genie Bra and wear it under all my clothes! Not long ago I received an invitation from my friends at Mom Central on behalf of Genie Bra to review the Genie Bra and you bet I jumped at the opportunity!

I was Blessed to receive a Classic Genie Bra Pack for review.

No more tugging, pulling, digging, adjusting and re-adjusting the Genie Bra. I put it on in the morning and forget I’m wearing it. Under shirts and even the clingiest sweaters the Genie Bra gives me the support, coverage and comfort I’ve never been able to find in an under-wire bra. There’s no wires or hooks in the Genie Bra which worried me a little at first. I wondered if I’d be able to get a proper fit with the support I needed. To be honest, the Genie Bra fits me like a glove and is so comfortable I forget I’m wearing a bra. There’s no straps to adjust, no hooks to wrangle with and instead of metal under-wire the Genie Bra supports, lifts and separates with a wide comfort life band that doesn’t roll or dig into my skin. After wearing the Genie Bra all day my shoulders aren’t red and sore and I don’t have ugly marks on my back and rib cage.

Constructed from a very comfortable, stretch material that retains its shape and conforms to any cup size, the Genie Bra offers the support of a bra and the coverage of an expensive camisole. It’s perfect under shirts, dresses and low cut blouses. Now I reach for the Genie Bra in the morning, which I love! There’s no deciding which bra will look good with which outfit because the Genie Bra is perfect under all my clothes! There are no lumps, bumps or ridges even under a form-fitting sweater. For a little extra lift and coverage I like to insert the support pads (which are included) into the inner lining of the Genie Bra. Cleaning the Genie Bra is easy! I just toss it in the washing machine with my other delicate items and tumble try on low.

I’m Staying Warm With Comfortable Slim & Tone Leggings by Genie

If you love the Genie Bra be sure to check out the Slim & Tone Leggings by Genie. I recently had surgery and I’m colder than usual but don’t want to wear heavy bulky clothing. Slim & Tone Leggings are lightweight, stretchy and so comfy I actually wore them the day after my surgery. The fabric is seamless, designed to conceal cellulite, and provides 5 zone comfort of invisible support over problem spots.

“Kick Those Underwire Bras to the Curb Once and for All ”
Feature on Genie Bra

Kick Those Underwire Bras to the Curb Once and for All
: January 28, 2013

When I used to work outside of the home, one of the things I hated most was wearing those stuffy, confining bras under my dress shirts. Since I like "the girls" to look lifted, I frequently wore the underwire bra variety. Yet by the end of the day, the skinny straps and underwire were digging into me so badly that the bra was the first thing to come off as soon as I got home.

Now that I'm a stay at home mom, I tend to wear the traditional sports bras more because they don't have the underwire cups or metal closures. Although these bras are much more comfortable, there's a downside to wearing them as well. Most sports bras I own still have the skinny straps that dig into my shoulders by the end of the day and the front of the bra is much thinner than a traditional one, so that sometimes it's a little too easy to tell how cold I am when I walk into a room.

When I first learned of the Genie Bra, I was definitely intrigued. The wide straps and lack of underwire looked like a dream come true. Check out the following video to learn more about the bra guaranteed to provide both comfort and style:

The Genie Bra comes in several shades to compliment any outfit and are sold in packs of three. It's a one- piece seamless bra with a lot of stretch, giving each person a customized and comfortable fit. It is not tight or constricting, though definitely provides support, and with the modesty pads cup inserts, you get a smooth silhouette under even the most form fitting clothes.

The Genie Bra is machine washer and dryer friendly and never loses its shape. I love the wider straps which don't cut and dig into your shoulders after a few hours of wear and of course, the lack of underwire is always a plus. The Genie Bra comes up rather high on your chest so that it can even serve as a camisole under shirts or dresses with a plunging neckline. This might be seen as a negative by some though, since the Genie Bra is not going to offer up any eye-catching cleavage.

I definitely prefer wearing the Genie Bra to both the sports bras and underwire bras I've worn previously. It's much more comfortable and gives a sleeker look under clothing. The modesty pads insert cups solve the problem of "appearing too cold" and they also help add to the sleek silhouette while giving the girls a tad more lift.

Not only does the Genie Bra work to enhance the appearance and comfort level of your upper body, they also have a line of garments, called Slim & Tone Leggings, designed to do the same for your lower half. I received three of these garments too and loved how I felt instantly slimmer, yet still comfortable and not as though I was wearing a girdle.

If you'd like to up the comfort level of your undergarments, be sure to check out the Genie Bra and Slim & Tone Leggings right away!
