Genie Bra :: What All Women Wish For

genie bra :: what all women wish for

I don’t have TV *gasp!* so I hadn’t heard about Genie Bras until I had the chance to review them. Yes, I kinda live under a rock.
I am normally a 36C, but since I’m still nursing, I am a little fuller than normal (36DD!!), but I still decided to get a size Large instead of an XL (the online size chart recommended XL) because I didn’t want it to be too loose. Plus, they say that your shirt size is your Genie Bra size, so that’s why I ultimately went with the Large. That size fits well, so I am glad I got the smaller size. I like the way the band fits around my ribs snugly without being too tight. It is a great casual bra for day or night – I’ve worn it to bed several times and it is so comfortable that I wake up forgetting that I have a bra on at all! It is very comfy and pretty supportive, but don’t expect any miracle-cleavage type action or lift. That’s just not what this bra is about. It’s about comfort and seamless design.
The removable pads are easier to insert and adjust after the bra is on, though the package recommends inserting them before putting the bra on – you say to-may-to, I say to-mah-to. They do slide around a little bit, but not so much that it’s annoying, and they don’t bunch up which is a total plus. The pads are especially nice when it’s cold outside. #nomorehighbeams
I really like my Genie Bras because they are so comfortable. They are great everyday bras, and it is definitely nice to have a break from underwire! Plus, they released new colors besides the classic white/nude/black lineup, AND they have the classic colors with lace trim. I LOVE the Neutrals line of colors. Very pretty!
Genie Bra :: $59.97 for 6 bras on the Genie Bra website (p.s. you can also get a nude/black set of 2 from BedBathandBeyond.com for $19.99 if you want to try them before you buy a set of 6)
