14,400 Genie Bras ($287,856 Worth) Are Heading to Female Soldiers Stationed Around The World.
December 15, 2011 - 17% of the soldiers carrying guns out there to protect us are women. They live outside the wire, many times in tents and very often without running water for months at a time. In fact feminine products is a key thing that heads to Afghanistan in care packages.
Now thanks to the generosity of Tristar Products Inc. of Fairfield, NJ, 14,400 Genie Bras are heading to female soldiers stationed around the world. That is $287,856 worth of goodwill shown by a privately owned great American company which stood up for the deployed troops in a big way.
Requests have already come in from numerous bases. These bras have no wires and provide flexibility and ease needed when geared up in the hot desert environment. They are being distributed through various troop support groups in the Support Our Troops Network, to whom we supplied them under our Care Goods Grant Program.
